Tonight at NXT Takeover: San Antonio, Asuka defends the NXT Women’s Title against Nikki Cross, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce in a Fatal Four-Way match. Which of these four women will walk away with the belt? The Diva Dirt team weighs in:
Abir: This will be a good one! All four girls will have their moments, with the Iconic Duo sharing the spotlight. But in the end, Asuka will force someone to tap to the Asuka Lock and take home her title.
Alex: For me, I think Billie Kay is going to steal the title at TakeOver! Probably an odd choice, but I see something in this girl and adding a title to her will help to fully mold out an actual character for her (and Peyton!). Since forming a duo, these two haven’t really done anything out of the ordinary – so how about making a proper statement by stealing the title and becoming NXT’s answer to The Beautiful People 10 years later!
Jack: I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Ember Moon will be the one to end Asuka’s undefeated streak, so Asuka will win tonight. Despite the odds being stacked against her, Ember keeping her undefeated streak to end Asuka’s is the way I see this going.
Josue: While going with Asuka is a safe bet for tonight, I’m going to take a gamble and say that Billie Kay will walk away with the belt tonight. We know Asuka has this undefeated streak going for her but if there is any chance of wanting to keep that streak alive while shaking up in the NXT Women’s division, a title change would be the way to go.
Stephanie: Tonight is the perfect night to strip Asuka of the title without breaking her winning streak. I’ll be satisfied if one of the Aussies win or Nikki but my bet is on Nikki Cross. As someone who is unhinged, she poses the biggest threat. She also has an intimidating group behind her, the likes the women’s division hasn’t seen before. It would introduce new stories that could deepen the women’s division and build stronger characters. That’s what NXT so desperately needs right now.
