NXT tapings took place this evening from the home of NXT, Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla. The tapings will air through the rest of June and into July. The spoilers include news from an NXT Women’s Championship match. Also, a former Impact Knockout has a match at the tapings. Check below for this information.
[expand title=“Spoilers”] The NXT tapings featured an NXT Women’s Championship Steel Cage Match. The match was between the champion Shayna Baszler and her challenger Io Shirai. Shirai recently lost a title match against Baszler at NXT TakeOver XXV.

The match resulted in Baszler retaining her title, however, Shirai was able to execute a moonsault from the top of the cage.

In another spoiler from the tapings, former Impact Knockout Diamante had a match. She is currently working under her real name Priscilla Zuniga. She came up short in a match against Bianca Belair.
This isn’t the first time Zuniga had a match with NXT. She made an appearance as an enhancement talent in March 2017 in a losing effort against Asuka.
There is no word as of yet if Zuniga will be signed to WWE.
