NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles Change Hands Back to Toxic Attraction

Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez do not have good luck when it comes to the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. After being crowned for a second time as champs at Stand & Deliver, they lost the belts in a rematch to Toxic Attraction on this week’s NXT just three days later.

With assistance from Wendy Choo on Saturday, Kai & Gonzalez were able to become two-time champs. Choo tried to help once again during the rematch, however, she was stopped by the NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Rose threw Choo into the steel steps which raised concern in Kai.

As Kai was looking after her friend, Gonzalez was isolated in the ring. After a chop block from Gigi Dolin, her tag team partner Jacy Jayne was able to get the pin on Gonzalez to regain the titles.

After the match, Kai was seen enraged backstage yelling that Mandy Rose is not safe. It has been booked for next week that Kai will be challenging Rose for the NXT Women’s Title.

Another women’s match this week had Nikkita Lyons and Lash Legend go one-on-one. Legend had been calling out Lyons for weeks and the two finally went at it in the ring. Lyons picked up the victory with the Lyons Den.

Tiffany Stratton addresses her loss to Ivy Nile last week thanks to Sarray. Stratton confirms she is not a loser.
