The NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships were defended at the NXT Live Show in Venice, Fla. over the weekend. The champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter put their gold on the line against Arianna Grace and Kiana James. They successfully defended the titles against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson two weekends ago and this bout between Grace and James would be no different. Chance and Carter have not defended on TV just yet but they are proving to be fighting champions.
Also at this event, the main event had Mandy Rose retain her NXT Women’s Title against Ivy Nile and Cora Jade in a Triple Threat.
On Friday’s NXT Live event in Lakeland, Fla. the first appearance by Blair Davenport took place after her NXT 2.0 debut last week. The results from that show were as follows (via Cagematch) –
- Indi Hartwell defeated Blair Davenport
- Fallon Henley, Brooks Jensen, and Josh Briggs defeated Lash Legend and Pretty Deadly
- Wendy Choo defeated Tiffany Stratton
