“The Native Beast” Nyla Rose will face Red Velvet on AEW Dynamite tonight.
The match comes just days before Rose challenges Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship at the Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday.
Rose hasn’t been in action since the Oct, 13 episode of AEW Dark where she defeated KiLynn King. Rose’s last match on Dynamite was on Sep, 9 when she defeated Tay Conti.
Red Velvet has been making waves on AEW Dark as of late. She was victorious against Elayna Black in singles action last week and last night she teamed with Brandi Rhodes to defeat Black and Leyla Hirsch in tag team action.
Her match with Rose is not her first appearance on Dynamite. She has also faced Shida and Britt Baker on AEW’s flagship show.
Also on the show, LeiD Tapa returned to the ring fo the first time since 2017 in her AEW debut against KiLynn King.
King would pick up her first win in an AEW ring with top rope Frog Splash.
King and Red Velvet have been AEW Dark regulars for months and it is great to see them picking up wins and getting the chance to shine in AEW.
