Dole’s Mountain Fiji was one of the most successful characters to come out of GLOW series during the 1980s, with her most notable feuds being against Matilda The Hun and Big Bad Mama. She appeared in the 2012 documentary GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, which has now become available on Netflix.
Dole’s inspiration to the wrestling world can be seen on Netflix’s current GLOW series through Britney Young’s character Carmen ‘Machu Picchu’ Wade.
On behalf of the entire Diva Dirt team, we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Emily “Mountain Fiji” Dole.
