Toni Storm Plans To Leave Dynasty With Megan Bayne’s Tits In Her Purse

Timeless Toni Storm may be in a bit of trouble. In one week and a day on April 6, Storm will be defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Megan Bayne. Bayne pinned the champion in a tag team affair last Wednesday on Dynamite.

Storm started off the March 29 episode of Collision. She asked Bayne to come on out but she figured that her upcoming challenger was too busy smashing watermelons and eating babies. Storm talks about Bayne being the better woman when Bayne pinned her. She says she returned to her hotel room and laid in the dark. She kept going over and over the same scene in her head. Storm says she woke up sweating more than usual. She went to take a piss, stubbed her toe, hit her head and then looked at herself in the mirror.

The timeless one then realized who the hell she is! She is Timeless Toni Storm and she vows to leave Dynasty with Bayne’s tits in her purse. Out of nowhere, Penelope Ford kicked the champion in the face. Storm fought back before Bayne attacked her from behind. She sent a message and told Storm to bow down after hitting the F-5.

Evolution II Fantasy Card – What Are Yours?

0

The rumors have been flying heavily the past few weeks that we are finally going to get a second Evolution this summer. In fact, there’s talks it taking place in July and in Connecticut tentatively. There has also been talk that an announcement for this event will happen in the next few weeks prior to WrestleMania. Of course, all of this is just that, rumors, at this point. However, as women wrestling fan’s we can’t sit here and say we haven’t had fantasy bookings ever since the first Evolution took place in 2018.

Here is a fantasy card (and the most realistic) card that could be put together by Diva Dirt. We know in this Triple H era; we get about five matches per premium live event. Of course, some of these PLE’s have specialty matches such as the Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber that takes up a lot of time. The 2018 event had a total of seven matches that were aired and a dark match making eight total.

We likely won’t get eight matches, but we should…so here are the eight matches we would like to see in the card order. Let us know in the comments what you would want to see?

What are your fantasy cards? Discuss below.

Toni Storm Segment Added To March 29 AEW Collision

Dynasty is set to take place next weekend.

Full card for tonight –

  • Toni Storm segment
  • Mercedes Mone in action
  • Jamie Hayter vs. Queen Aminata

Countdown to WrestleMania: Ranking All Women’s WrestleMania Matches No. 42 & 41

The countdown to this year’s WrestleMania is in full swing. WrestleMania 41 takes place on the weekend of April 19 and 20. 52 (really 55) matches in the history of WrestleMania include women. Diva Dirt will countdown two matches daily to rank all 52 leading up to this year’s event.

Now onto 42 & 41!

42. WrestleMania XXX

AJ Lee (c) def. Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Natalya, Layla, Aksana, Eva Marie, Tamina, Naomi, Cameron, Summer Rae, and EmmaDivas Championship Vickie Guerrero‘s Invitational

The fact that this was the only time the Divas Championship was defended at WrestleMania. What? If they weren’t too busy just putting together tag team matches for the whole Divas Era it may have been different.

Anyway, this match was doomed from the start. They truly put it in a death slot and right after Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s streak. The crowd was drained, commentary was talking more about Brock beating The Undertaker than the match itself. AJ was barely in it, and she just appeared back in the ring at the end to put Naomi in the Black Widow to win the match by submission. This was just an example of throw every woman into a match and see what happens.

I will say it did allow Divas such as Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes to do a decent amount in the match. And there was a fun spot with Brie & Nikki which got a small pop from the crowd. Other than that, another match that was just thrown together for the Divas during this time.

41. WrestleMania 17

Ivory (c) vs. Chyna – WWF Women’s Championship

I really struggled where to put this, and I don’t think I can put it that much higher. For the sheer fact that it was memorable for Chyna to win her first (and only) women’s title was iconic, but that’s about it.

The match was super short, under 3 minutes, and Chyna was mostly known for her power so that just dominated Ivory. I just remember feeling so disappointed back when it happened knowing the match should have been epic.

Check back in with us here at Diva Dirt tomorrow for numbers 40 and 39 as the countdown continues!

CMLL Reyna Isis Steals The Win, One on One Set Up for Next Week

Hello everyone, welcome to the CMLL weekly review! This week we will be covering three women’s matches.

First, on Tuesday from La Arena Coliseo de Guadalajara, we had one half of the new CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, Lluvia, teaming up with La Catalina and Kira in a six-woman tag match against her rival Dark Silueta, Persephone, and Sanely.

Lluvia was able to lead her team to the win, with la cavernaria.

On the same night in La Arena México, we had a different tag team match between the newly crowned Mexican National Women’s Champion, India Sioux, Princesa Sugehit, and one half of the Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions, Skadi, versus Candela, Metálica, and the CMLL World Women’s Champion, Zeuxis.

With their athleticism, Las Técnicas were able to get the first fall while Las Rudas got the second fall, but after a triple suplex, the babyfaces cleaned the ring to finish the job, winning the match with an armbar and a powerbomb.

Lastly, on Friday, we had another tag match; this time, the CMLL tag champs, Las Chicas Indomables, battled Reyna Isis and Persephone.

Las Rudas got the win with the help of the ropes. Post-match, Lluvia challenged Reyna Isis to a singles match next week.

This will be it for now. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

WrestleMania 37: Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks Ranks On WWE’s Greatest WrestleMania Matches Ever

Coming at number 19 of WWE’s 50 Greatest WrestleMania Matches Ever, we have one of only two women main events in the history of the show. It lands itself at number 19 and makes the fourth match on this list to include women.

At WrestleMania 37, Sasha Banks defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Night One in the main event against Bianca Belair. This made Banks and Belair as the first-ever two Black women to wrestle for a championship at WrestleMania. The also became two of only five women to ever main event a WrestleMania following the Triple Threat at WrestleMania 35 that involved Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair.

Belair would go on to win this match and become the SmackDown Women’s Champion, earning her first ever championship in WWE at the time. This ended Banks’ longest reign as champion in the WWE at 167 days.

Other matches that have mad WWE’s list so far are –

36. Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair Raw Women’s Title WrestleMania 38

31. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch Divas Title/WWE Women’s Title WrestleMania 32

21. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H vs. Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle WrestleMania 34

Kayden and Katana Face Off Against Secret Hervice; Naomi Warns Jade Cargill To Proceed With Caution

WWE’s international tour continues, and Friday Night SmackDown aired this week from inside the O2 Arena in London, England.

We got our first glimpse of Team Blue’s female fighters this week in a backstage segment with Zelina Vega and the recently transferred duo of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who saw what the Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre and Piper Niven) did to Vega following her match last week where she lost to Niven. Carter says that the two and Chelsea Green think they’re untouchable, but someone’s going to have to stop them eventually. It’s a “speak of the devil” moment for the three, as Fyre and Niven enter the room to clear space for the Women’s United States Champion. Vega says that she’s glad that the “bootleg Men in Black” decided to crash the party. She continues to speak as she adds that she may be small, but the “small threat” is a big threat to Green and her championship, otherwise it wouldn’t have taken the trio to beat her. Carter and Chance agree, and decide that tonight, Fyre and Niven will see what happens when the odds are even.

Their tag team match was next following the segment. Carter and Chance started off with a double team sequence, but both women would be taken out by a Swanton Bomb from Niven at ringside. The “spicy margarita” would get back in the ring to focus on Chance, and Fyre was tagged in to continue the offense. Niven would use her tie to try and choke Chance while the referee wasn’t looking, allowing the Secret Hervice to continue controlling the match. Chance would tag in Carter; the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion gained momentum for her team by throwing the artist formerly known as Kay Lee Ray in for a loop, but not enough momentum could put her away as Fyre had tagged in Niven once again, with a senton attempt failing to work. Carter and Chance took advantage, hitting a lateral press for a near-fall.

The end would come when Chelsea Green distracted the referee, which frustrated Chance; this would lead to Niven pushing Carter into her to send her to the floor, followed by a Piper Driver for the win. The trio would continue to beat them down post-match, but Vega would run in to make the save, attacking Niven and Fyre but being pummeled by Green, who tried to hit the Unprettier but was reversed. Vega would try and get the upper hand, but just like last week, was once again outnumbered by the Secret Hervice.

After re-emerging last week to exact payback on Jade Cargill for attacking her twice in this past month in response to being revealed as her attacker, a Naomi vignette aired featuring her talking to herself, unsure of why she was filming the segment and how she ended up here. Turning to the camera, Naomi would say that she’s always been a woman to do the right thing. Directing her attention to Bianca Belair, she questions the EST on thinking that attacking Jade was somehow different from doing the right thing. When Naomi thinks about all that she has sacrificed and given, it breaks her heart to be seen as the “bad guy” of the situation between her, Belair, and Cargill. At the same time, she just can’t understand how Jade could just come in out of nowhere and take her place. She then asks Bianca, who inspired her? Who has inspired women over the last decade? Who always had her back from day one? It’s not Jade.

Naomi concludes by saying that what she has learned throughout this situation is that you teach people how to treat you, and she is done with being treated as a third wheel. She’s done being pushed to the side, with being too nice, undervalued, underutilized, and underappreciated. Moving forward, her message to Cargill is that if she continues to get in her way, she strongly advises her to proceed with caution.

Jade Cargill was in Nick Aldis’ office, wanting to get her hands on Naomi and demanding to know where she is. Aldis says that he nor anyone else has seen her, so as far as he’s concerned, she’s not in the building, but Jade doesn’t care, because when she finds her, it’s on sight. As Jade walks out of his office, Michin & B-Fab appear. B-Fab tells Cargill that they think what Naomi did to her was trash and uncalled for, and know that Jade will take care of her, while Michin says she’ll take care of Charlotte Flair; the two have a match following Charlotte’s victory over B-Fab two weeks ago. B-Fab continues and says that Naomi deserves everything that’s coming to her: no sympathy, no regrets.

As Michin made her entrance accompanied by B-Fab, Naomi would attack and punch her in the ring. Turning her attention to B-Fab, Naomi would throw her into the barricade and the commentary desk before Cargill chased her enemy away and checked up on her. Helping B-Fab to the back, Charlotte Flair would make her entrance, at which point Cargill and Flair would have a brief stare-down.

With Michin still visibly hurt but ready to fight, Charlotte would give her a superkick and a near-fall attempt, but The Crazy One held on, taking some hard chops from The Queen. The match remained in Flair’s favor, with her putting Michin in many holds and more pin attempts. Michin eventually started to take control, although Flair was able to counter Eat Defeat and even kicked out of a powerbomb. After a second try at Eat Defeat, Charlotte would put her foot on the ropes and would drop to the floor, evading a kick that sent Michin crashing into the steel steps. Flair began to focus on Michin’s leg and put her in the Figure Eight to win via tap-out.

Immediately following the match, Jackie Redmond stood side-by-side with Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to talk about last week’s interview segment. Stratton says that Flair loves to hear herself talk, and after 10 years in this business, she’s still so insecure that she wouldn’t let her get a word out. She did, however, learn something last week: walking into WrestleMania, she’s not the one who has something to lose. If she loses, she loses to Charlotte Flair, the legend, as a 25 year-old rookie with a year of being on SmackDown. But if Charlotte Flair loses? Then she loses to an “undeserving, delusional, unoriginal, backflip-doing, blonde hair having, little girl”. The Buff Barbie can’t wait to see the look on her face when she hears “AND STILL…” after retaining her title; maybe then Flair will shut up for the sake of everybody. They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, and she’s going to make damn sure that Flair’s massive ego stays there, because she’s walking out of WrestleMania as the WWE Women’s Champion.

Friday Night SmackDown airs next week from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Here’s what is set to take place:

A new Naomi vignette has aired on the new episode of SmackDown in London, England on March 25. In the vignette, Naomi address both Jade Cargill but more so Bianca Belair.

Naomi explains that she is tired of being the third wheel. She asks Belair who inspired her, who has been there for her from the start? Because it wasn’t Jade.

Check out the new vignette below. SmackDown will air in the United States as a taped show at its normal time.

Kanji Talks Upcoming Match With Mercedes Moné: “It’s Actually Happening Now”

0

Kanji gets a shot at the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Title on April 20 at the promotion’s High Stakes event. The current champion, Mercedes Moné appeared on screen at a recent RevPro event to lay out the challenge.

While speaking with This is a Revolution, Kanji showed her shock and awe that she was going to be able to face Moné next month.

“It’s actually happening now. So I think it just really hit me like, oh my god, it’s not even just words anymore. It’s not even just an idea. It’s real, like it’s happening. It’s just crazy to think that she’s stood there, she’s filmed this, she knows my name. Like that’s crazy. I just couldn’t believe it. Then the response of everyone that lots of people just stood up and started chanting, that i deserve it and I think that really touched my heart because I really didn’t expect anything like that. That was the thing that actually made made me cry. It was that, the audience chanting that, that got me.” (Transcript: Fightful)

Moné has held this title for 82 days and counting after defeating Mina Shirakawa. This will be Moné’s first defense of it. Kanji is a former two-time PROGRESS Women’s Champion in the PROGRESS promotion based out of London.

Harley Cameron Talks Time With AEW: “I Just Want To Get Better”

For the fans of AEW, Harley Cameron has been a breath of fresh air. She has not only the charisma, personality, and humor, she is good int he ring as well!

Harley was able to challenge Mercedes Mone in February for the TBS Championship, which she wasn’t able to capture. However, Harley continues to be a focal point of the women’s division.

While speaking as the first guest on the debut episode of Saraya’s podcast Rulebreakers, Ms. Cameron talks about her current time with the company.

“I love AEW. I’m very very happy and I’m thankful I’m learning every day. They’re great, fantastic. I genuinely love going to work and I think my goal is — I just want to get better. I just want to keep learning. Obviously you want to reach the pinnacle of what you can and achieve everything like that, that sounds so lame and corny, but I truly mean it. The win for me is getting to do it. I love being out there, I love the way it feels, I love how I get scared. That’s how I felt with singing for a while, I would like, I had no notes. To this day, nothing can shake me with a microphone, and I miss that feeling and I found that again with wrestling. The fear of failure and wanting to be better is really exciting. I just love wrestling, I love it. I’m just very wrestling crazy right now.” (Transcript – Fightful)

Harley has been picking up quick wins on Collision. Her last big win was against Deonna Purrazzo on the Feb. 26 episode of Dynamite.

TNA Thwarts NXT By Securing Wins On iMPACT! Jacy Jayne To Bring Her Friends Next Time

The TNA Knockouts division was invaded by NXT talent this week as both matches involved a TNA vs. NXT dynamic. As a correction to our previous preview reporting of this episode, the championships were not on the line during both of these matches.

First, to open the show, the newly crowned TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Ash & Heather By Elegance, took on the team of Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. This would be Gigi’s first step over the line, but Paxley had challenged Jordynne Grace last year at Against All Odds for the TNA Knockouts World Title.

Ash picked up the win for her team as she hit Rarefied Air on Paxley to get the pin. The Meta Girls were banned from ringside who also have their eye on the champions. Post match, Ash and Heather were set to celebrate with a cake, but Tatum and Gigi smashed Ash’s face into the cake.

Next, Jacy Jayne took on the Knockouts Champion, Masha Slamovich. Tessa Blanchard, who is ready to take what she feels belongs to her from Slamovich, was banned from ringside. Slamovich picked up the win with Snowplow. Blanchard attacked Slamovich post-match. Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee came down to help Slamovich.

In a post made on social media after this episode, Jayne said she is going to be bringing her friends with her next time.

Xia Brookside, Léi Ying Lee, why? Please tell me why you decided to come down and help Masha Slamovich. Masha doesn’t have any friends, but I get it, I get it. You probably just want a little bit of the Jacy Jayne rub. You won’t be the first and you certainly won’t be the last to try to get a little bit of the NXT Rockstar shine. But unfortunately for you, I’m coming back to TNA and I’m bringing my friends. You all have made a fatal mistake.”

ROH: The Forever Champion Stays Winning

0

Hello everyone, welcome to the honor club! Last night, the ROH Forever Champion Athena teamed up with her new minion Diamante in tag action.

After having a little back and forth on Twitter with the multi-champion, Mercedes Moné, Athena was prepping for her tag team match with Diamante; Billie interrupted only to be dismissed by the Minion overlord.

The tag match was a standard short exhibition match; Athena and Diamante defeated Jordan Blue and Mazzerati for the quick win.

Then we saw a video package highlighting Lady Frost and Taya Valkyrie and their path in CMLL, which saw them compete in six matches, including the finals for the vacant CMLL tag titles. They vowed to be back to get the titles that they deserved.

And finally, we had Viva Van facing Queen Aminata for the very first time in singles action.

Viva Van made a great effort, but it was not enough, and the Queen cut her head off with a running kick for the win.

It seems we are heading into Mercedes vs. Athena. Are you excited about their possible match? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Countdown to WrestleMania: Ranking All Women’s WrestleMania Matches No. 44 & 43

The countdown to this year’s WrestleMania is in full swing. WrestleMania 41 takes place on the weekend of April 19 and 20. 52 matches in the history of WrestleMania include women. Diva Dirt will countdown two matches daily to rank all 52 leading up to this year’s event.

44. WrestleMania 23

Melina (c) def. Ashley – WWE Women’s Title Lumberjill Match

This wasn’t good. The match was under 4 minutes, which I guess was expected, however, even with that, the lumberjills weren’t used once. You had about 10 women standing around the ring, just to stand there. You could also tell how green Ashley was here even though I will personally fight for her! Melina retained, but this could have been so much better.

Ashley does appear the following year in a tag team match, but she is put with Maria who isn’t known for her wrestling ability either. That match has yet to come on this list.

43. WrestleMania 14 –

Sable & Marc Mero def. Luna Vachon & The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust

The better Sable match on this list falls just above the previous one. This is also Luna’s second time and higher showing. This match was surprisingly fun, but with a listed dominated by great women’s matches, it still falls towards the lower side.

Sable and Luna worked really well together in this match and the men also made the pace of it seem fun. This was another match that WWE surprising allowed the women to be the decision as Sable pinned Luna. The crowd was really into the finish and erupting with applause showing how over Sable was in this match.

Check back in with us here at Diva Dirt tomorrow for numbers 42 and 41 as the countdown continues!

Gail Kim Comments On TNA Release, Adds “More Women In Leadership Roles, Not Less”

In a shocking move by TNA earlier this week, Gail Kim was fired from the company. She had been working as a backstage producer, talent relations, and most recently creative during her tenure outside of the squared circle.

The news left a bad taste in many mouths, including other talent and fans alike. Kim responded to the outpouring of support on her social media.

“Just wanted to say thank you to the fans, friends, and especially my peers for all of the support you have given me over the last few days. I’ve received such an enormous amount of love and it really has helped process this change for me. More than anything, I am grateful for all the years and opportunities I was given to help build something I always dreamed of. The KO division is and will always be my heart and all the women who were a part of it. Thanks to the incredibly hard working and passionate TNA talent & crew that I have had the pleasure of working with. This will not end my passion or my love for wrestling and this is not the end of Gail Kim in the wrestling world. You don’t put 17 years in one company and stop when you are this passionate. I look forward to sharing my journey and am taking some time for myself and prepare for what’s ahead. Looking forward to the future.”

Kim then adds in the caption, “Thank you. And one last thought…More women in leadership roles. Not less.”

Report: Evolution Event News To Be Confirmed For This Summer Ahead Of WrestleMania

0

A second news outlet is providing further proof to the rumor of the Evolution premium live event returning this summer!

A few weeks ago, Cory Hays of PWNReports and BodySlamNet reported that rumblings of the second Evolution event were on the horizon. The event is tentatively planned for July and will take place at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Now, WrestleVotes is backing up the claim. According to WrestleVotes, they spoke with sources and can confirm that WWE is set to bring back the event this summer and it will be confirmed and officially announce by WWE before WrestleMania.

The last Evolution even took place in 2018 and had Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella for the Raw Women’s Title in the main event. Rousey retained.

46. WrestleMania 26 –

Alicia Fox, LayCool, Maryse, and Vickie Guerrero def. Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, and Mickie James

Man, this was bad. The match with all of these talents (and Vickie) lasted only 3 and a half minutes and the majority of the match was them teaming up on Vickie and the other half was every woman hitting one move. This match had two champions in it, Michelle McCool as the Women’s Champion and Maryse as the Divas Champion. There was no need for this match, at all. If they wanted to have something funny for Vickie to do, it could have been done with just a regular tag team match.

Vickie would get the pin on Kelly and it was a heck of a botch. First, Vickie executed the worst frog splash in history. I get this was an homage to her husband and I bless them for that thought, but man, this was just no. Then, Kelly’s shoulders were up when they probably shouldn’t have been which had to have the referee redo the count.

I wish this match never existed.

45.5. WrestleMania 6 –

Sapphire & Dusty Rhodes def. Queen Sherri & Randy Savage

View on WWE.com

Disclaimer: When making this list, I accidentally looked over two matches, both ironically being mixed/intergender. So I have added them in as a “.5” just because we are already into the list and I also didn’t want to omit them. The last one came in at # 47.5.

This was a really fun match, especially for Sapphire not being a wrestler. She also got to pick up the win and pin a former champion in that of Sherri, which was a big deal, and received a big pop from the crowd. This was the first mixed tag team match in WrestleMania history.

Miss. Elizabeth was also involved in the match to help Sapphire and Dusty win. This is what a mixed tag team match should feel like. The women really were showcased here.

The only thing I hated with this was the commentary who would go on to call Sapphire fat the entire time.

45. WrestleMania 15 –

Sable (c) def. Tori – WWF Women’s Championship

Personally, I enjoy this match, but it honestly can’t be put too much higher on this list. In fact, although this came after another Sable match (which will come later), I think she did well in her first match at WrestleMania 14 (in a mixed tag team). What was good about this was it did introduce the audience to new women. This was Tori’s first match (having a Mania match as your debut match is huge), and this was the debut appearance of Nicole Bass. Bass helped Sable earn the victory. As a Tori fan, I wish they would have eventually given her a win over Sable for the title later on.

Check back in with us here at Diva Dirt tomorrow for numbers 44 and 43 as the countdown continues!

Stevie Turner Named GM Of WWE Evolve; Wendy Choo vs. Kylie Rae Set For Next Week

0

On the March 26 episode of WWE’s Evolve, a new GM was introduced. Thanks to General Manager Ava of NXT, she has appointed Stevie Turner as the new GM of Evolve. And not Robert Stone. Turner took to the ring to celebrate the new position that she had accepted. She has been a co-assistant GM along with Stone underneath Ava in NXT. For Evolve, Stone does commentary with Peter Rosenberg.

For next week, Wendy Choo will be taking on Kylie Rae.

Results from March 26 –
