Lynch vs. Jax Last Woman Standing Match Set For Raw; Dakota Kai Secures Kabuki Warriors Win

If you thought Becky Lynch and Nia Jax were through with each other, think again.

Round one went to Jax, round two was a disqualification thanks to Liv Morgan, and now we are going round three in a Last Woman Standing Match. The match will take places next week on March 18.

On the March 11 episode of Raw, Lynch went one-on-one with Liv Morgan. This was the first time the two would meet in a singles match since the Day 1 premium live event in January 2022. At that time Morgan was in the climb of her singles career and chasing the Raw women’s Title.

This match was fantastic and a great showing for both. Morgan hit several codebreakers throughout the match and ObLIVion but couldn’t keep The Man down. They even exchange armbars in submission attempts. It would come down to Lynch hitting the ManHandle Slam for the victory, but Morgan looked great here even in defeat.

As Morgan was leaving the ring, the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley came down to the ring. Morgan had some words for Ripley as she passed her. In the ring, Ripley congratulated her WrestleMania opponent Lynch for her win against Morgan. But she asked if it was worth it. She doesn’t think with all of these matches Lynch keeps having she will be 100% come Mania.

Moments later backstage, Morgan and Lynch would shake hands before Nia Jax entered. She took out Morgan before landing Lynch through a merchandise table with ManHandle slam.

Elsewhere on Raw, The Kabuki Warriors defended their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. Another quality match where Stark and Baszler almost secured the gold on a number of occasions.

The final moments had Kairi Sane in the Kirifuda Clutch, but it was Dakota Kai on the outside who grabbed the foot of Shayna Baszler to make her break the hold. This allowed Asuka to hold back Baszler for Sane’s InSane Elbow to get the pin and the victory.

Candice LeRae Makes Maxxine Dupri Cry: “People Are Booing You Because You Don’t Belong Here”

0

Candice LeRae has had enough and has seemingly turned heel.

Over the past couple of week’s LeRae has shown frustration to her tag team partner Indi Hartwell on their continuous losses. Last week, LeRae snapped at Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile which led to a match on the March 11 episode of Raw.

LeRae and Nile opened the match, but it didn’t take long before both Dupri and Hartwell were tagged in. Dupri was on offense when she did tje reverse caterpillar. Before she could land the move on Hartwell, LeRae stopped her. LeRae backed Dupri into the corner and destroyed her with a sharp tongue.

LeRae tells Dupri that she doesn’t belong here which is why people are booing her. This was a direct reference to Dupri receiving negative crowd reactions at live events. LeRae also digs in that Dupri should hear what the locker room has to say about her. Finally, she pushes Dupri over the edge when she says that it is a good thing her dead brother isn’t here to see what an embarrassment she has become.

As Dupri breaks herself out of the corner, Hartwell takes care of her with a big boot to end the match with a victory for her and LeRae. Nile was on the outside during this exchange.

Bayley’s Fighting To Have Paramore Play Her Entrance At WrestleMania

Bayley will be taking on IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XL but she has made it no secret about her love for the band Paramore.

She is wanting Paramore to perform her entrance at Mania and has wanted this since 2020. She even had Paramore agree for her to use their song “Simmer” in the past.

Speaking on Xfinity Hangouts, Bayley talked about the possibility of Paramore actually showing up for her.

“Honestly, yeah, because I am going to fight for it. I’ve already brought it up. I just don’t know what their schedule is like these days. It feels like they’re taking time off, but they just put out a new video, so maybe not. I would love for them to play ‘Simmer.’ During the pandemic, Hayley’s solo album came out, and I was listening to that all the time. ‘Simmer’ would pump me up. Let’s do some ‘Simmer’ into my theme. I don’t know, I don’t care, you can play anything you want, I’ll come out to it. I’m really trying. Keep petitioning and tweeting about it,” said Bayley.

Bianca Belair Wants To See Natalya In WWE Hall of Fame While Still Active

0

It is Hall of Fame season and we know that for the upcoming ceremony Bull Nakano is an inductee.

It is rare for any wrestler to be inducted into the Hall of Fame while still an active competitor in the ring. However, it is pretty much unheard of for a woman to still be active in the ring and be inducted. Last year we saw it happen to Rey Mysterio.

While speaking with Triblive Sports, Belair states she would like to see Natalya inducted while she is still going in the ring.

“I can’t wait for one of the women to do it, like Nattie. If you look at Nattie’s resume and what she’s done, and how long she’s been here. I would love to see her one day be inducted to the Hall of Fame, but still be able to go in and have a match of WrestleMania, like Rey Mysterio. I just love when they can be inducted into the Hall of Fame. but they’re still backstage with us,” said Bianca.

“She keeps going and if you look at what she’s accomplished, and how she’s still here, and she can still accomplish more and like she’s in the Guinness Book of World Records, the amount of matches she’s had, who she’s the people that she’s been in the ring with. I mean, I think that she’s not a legend in the making, she’s already a legend, and she’s still going.”

0

WrestleMani XL is less than a month away, and although Becky Lynch has a championship match against Rhea Ripley, her path to get there is still riddled with opponents. After both Morgan and Lynch caused disqualifications in each others matches, they are now going face to face tonight! The last time these two went one-on-one was at Day 1 on Jan. 1 2022 for the Raw Women’s Title. In the tag team scene, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler have strung together many wins which has now earned them a shot at the Kabuki Warriors and the tag team gold. They face off tonight.

Tenille Dashwood And Mike Rallis Get Married

0

Former WWE Superstars, Emma (Tenille Dashwood) and Riddick Moss (Mike Rallis) say “I do.” On March 8, the happy couple got married in Hawaii.

In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the couple picked Hawaii as a location because it is between Dashwood’s home country of Australia and Rallis’ home country of the United States (Minnesota).

The couple got engaged in Dashwood’s hometown of Melbourne.

“Mike opened the ring box upside down, and when I told him, he said, ‘It’s because you’ve turned my world upside down,’” Dashood recalls. “I later discovered that it was actually a mistake… he’s lucky the ring didn’t fall between the cracks into the river!”

About the wedding –

“There’s no doubt it’s going to be an epic wedding but the most important thing is it’s going to be so much fun,” Dashwood said ahead of the pair’s nuptials. “We want a celebration where our family and friends can enjoy themselves and have a great time.” Adds Rallis: “Stunning scenery, delicious food, live music and the best company we could ask for.”

The couple notes that they didn’t want to have a “very traditional wedding.” That’s why for the afterparty, they decided to ditch the speeches “so we could have more time enjoying each other’s company,” Dashwood says.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Bayley Realizes She’s All Alone, Faces Dakota Kai Next Week

After last week’s betrayal by Dakota Kai, Bayley realizes she is all alone. And some may think that Bayley deserves this. Bianca Belair for one.

In a sit down interview with Kayla Braxton, Bayley goes over what took place the past couple of months. She questions whether or not Damage CTRL, especially IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, were really even her real friends. She goes on to say that she knows she has made a lot of enemies in the past couple of years. But she vows to break Damage CTRL even though she knows she is all alone.

Bayley vs. Dakota is set for next week.

Speaking of an enemy of Bayley, Belair was backstage as she saw Naomi watching the interview. Naomi says she feels sorry for Bayley but Belair tried to let her know how bad she has been over the past couple of years.

Michin Suffers Loss To Tiffany Stratton: “Something’s Gotta Change”

Michin appears to be at her wits end after suffering a loss to Tiffany Stratton on the March 8 episode of SmackDown.

Stratton continues to dominate in the early goings of her SmackDown run as she remains undefeated in singles action since her call up. She defeated the veteran Naomi last week and now another veteran in Michin this week. The final moments of the match had Michin taking perhaps a bit too long in going for a Styles Clash as Stratton countered. Stratton set Michin up and delivered the PME.

In a video posted on social media after the match, a frustrated Michin says “something’s gotta change” as she feels she is doing everything right.

WWE Main Event: Candice LeRae vs. Chelsea Green -March 7

The March 7 episode of Main Event had Candice LeRae taking on Chelsea Green.

LeRae as of late has been fed up on not winning as a tag team alongside Indi Hartwell. LeRae’s bad luck continued on Main Event in singles action against Green. Green wins with a roll up and assist with her feet on the ropes.

Hartwell, who was at ringside, was able to catch Green from using her feet on the ropes the first time. Green executes a baseball slide taking out Hartwell on the outside. This allowed the roll up by Green again on Lerae, this time without Hartwell there to help her tag team partner.

Masha continued her dominance with a stretch on the mat while clubbing Luna’s chest. Luna fought back with punches and a dropkick before hitting an assisted Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall.

WWE Talent Defend Bianca Belair Due To Racist Remarks Against Her Online

0

The WWE locker room and fans alike are taking to their social media in defense of Bianca Belair.

Based on the state the world continues to be in, Belair has received some racist remarks in the comment section of a WWE Game account post.

A simple post below to show the individuals on the upcoming WWE 2K24 cover has sparked horrible comments on race and why Belair doesn’t belong with Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley. And to be clear, this goes beyond her talent and just not liking her as a wrestler. The post can be seen below.

This particular screenshot shows a comment saying that Belair is only on the cover because “guess gotta have a black.” Outside of this, there are tons of comments saying only Ripley and Rhodes deserve to be there with no explanation. But we know the explanation!!

Several WWE Superstars are speaking out. Belair’s cover partner Rhea Ripley had the following to say.

You can see more below. Fuck y’all racists!

Mercedes Moné Talks Leaving WWE, Feels Better Than Ever On What’s Next

Mercedes Moné is looking forward in her career but also reflecting about the past. Everyone is expecting Moné to debut for AEW next Wednesday on March 13 at Big Business.

While speaking on The Kick Rocks podcast, Moné said the following about leaving WWE back in 2022. A topic she has been rather tight lipped about since leaving the company.

“Something inside of me told me that I needed to go do this and stand up for myself. It was a very hard decision because wrestling in WWE has been my whole life. People don’t know, it’s been my whole life. It’s the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my whole life, but it’s the proudest. It’s crazy, because I would not be sitting here, living the best version of my life and getting to be everything I’ve ever dreamt of, and more. It makes me so excited because that moment changed my whole life for the better. I’m so thankful for that moment. I’m so proud of myself. I’m so proud of Trinity, of just how strong we were. “

As for her future, Moné feels better than ever. After leaving WWE, Moné went to Japan and became the second IWGP Women’s Champion for NJPW after defeating KAIRI in February 2023.

Once AEW CEO Tony Khan announced the Big Business episode coming on March 13 in Boston we knew that Moné was coming. Even the verbiage on the announcement showed Bo$$ton.

Moné said the following about her future –

“I’m going to come back really soon and have the greatest time, the greatest matches, the greatest career I’ve had yet.

Because I see it, I feel it and I know it.”

She continues, “I feel more ready and better than ever, and I cannot wait to see all my prior plans of 2023 come into fruition in 2024.

I’ve been making some really big moves, Big Business moves, and big money moves.”

Laslty, she also talks about Bayley and how proud she is of her.

“I am nothing but so proud and so happy for her. And to be the person from afar, I get to see her from afar I get to see her do all this and see all her hard work, and hear her talk about her dreams and her hopes and what she wants to do in that business, and to see it come through and to see so much magic that woman can make.

She does so much for that division and I’m just beyond proud to know, to me, that she is going to Main event WrestleMania, because that’s how it should be.

I am just beyond the moon for her, shes had a crazy past three years coming from the pandemic, getting injured, seeing her go through that.”

Riho Upsets Statlander On Dynamite; Willow vs. Riho Set For Big Business

The March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Kris Statlander take on Riho.

After a feeling-out process, Statlander grounded Riho before flattening her with a clothesline. Riho came back with a kick and eventually countered Statlander with a dragon suplex.

Stokely Hathaway once again attempted to get Statlander to use a chain, however she ultimately tossed it away. Kris then slammed Riho, but the former world champion rolled her up out of nowhere and scored the pinfall victory to the shock of Statlander and Hathaway.

Afterward, Renee Paquette spoke to Willow Nightingale backstage. Willow has agreed to face Riho next week at Dynamite: Big Business.

But before then, Julia Hart will return to singles competition this Friday on Rampage as she will defend the TBS Championship against Robyn Renegade in an Open House Rules match.

We also heard from Toni Storm backstage, who is presenting the first “Toni Award” on Saturday’s Collision. Mariah May will also be in action on Saturday.

Bull Nakano To Be Inducted Into The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame

WWE has confirmed ESPN’s report that former WWF Women’s Champion Bull Nakano will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame!

Nakano’s famous WWF feud was with Alundra Blayze in the 1990s, where she won the WWF Women’s Championship in the Tokyo Dome. This was at an all-women’s show presented All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling. There were plans before Nakano’s release to have a feud with Bertha Faye.

“During my active years, I was able to get championship belts in Japan, America and Mexico,” Nakano told ESPN through an interpreter. “But just one thing was missing — I didn’t get inducted into the Hall of Fame. I wanted this. Finally, in 2024 in WrestleMania week, I am able to get this.”

Nakano has wrestled around the world including promotions such as CMLL, AJW, and WCW. She is currently in charge as commissioner of a new Japanese women’s promotion in the United States – Sukeban. This promotion has signed former NXT talent Sarray (Sareee).

Nakano retired from in-ring activity in 1997.
