Maryse Reveals She’s Been Diagnosed With Serous Borderline Tumors

0

Former Divas Champion Maryse has opened up about a serious health issue.

Maryse took to her social media on Saturday to reveal that she had been diagnosed with Serous Borderline Ovarian Tumors, a rare and serious form of precancer.

Maryse writes:

Not all super heroes wear capes

Here’s a superhero I want to take the time to highlight. Her name is Thais Aliabadi, Oby-Gyn, in LA. She saved my life.

I couldn’t be more blessed to have crossed paths in life with this brilliant, uber talented, patient, attentive and genuinely caring woman!

Severe abdominal distention and swelling to the point where I would look 6 months pregnant. Lots of GI issues, including sibo, multiple rounds of antibiotics, extreme fatigue, and just wasn’t feeling like myself!

For the past year, my symptoms would come in flare ups and it progressively got worse – it became chronic.

I saw countless doctors in different fields, but no diagnosis. No one could tell me what’s happening. I went down an incredibly long list of testing, from colonoscopy/endoscopy/pill cam endoscopy, mri’s, ultrasounds, ct scans, blood tests just to name a few and often would be told that its probably hormonal and or just something by body is allergic too. I even had my entire house tested for mold. I was told to let it go – that it would figure itself out with time. That I’m just too impatient and making myself crazy

From the start when I met Thais at her office in LA, she listened to my story, truly listened. She heard me (a doctor’s quality that makes a tremendous difference) and agreed that we have to push to get to the bottom of this. She always said, “No one knows your body better than you.” She proposed we go in there and find out. I was ready.

A week ago I went into surgery with Dr. Thais. She performed a Laparoscopy surgery for what we thought at the time was potentially Endometriosis disease!

She found and removed 11 implants around my uterus, ovaries, and all connective tissues around the organs in my abdominal cavity. These were sent to pathology for testing.

3 days later… the labs came back. No endometriosis.

All 11 implants came back as Serous Borderline Tumors. A very rare pre-cancer of the ovaries. Very sneaky and aggressive. If those become cancer, the survival rate is less than a year.

So what happens next? I am scheduled for total hysterectomy surgery in 4 weeks. My uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, omentum will be removed and will get abdominal lymph nodes removed for staging.

I’m remaining positive and determined to beat this thing. There is only one option and it’s winning this battle! As a mom of two young daughters, I have to.

Let’s bring light to a huge woman healthcare issue here. Women get so conditioned to believe that is it normal to suffer, most often in silence. Told to stop being a cry baby. That it must be hormonal imbalances, just anxiety or just all in your head.

This is not normal. This cycle has to be broken! If you get dismissed by a doctor, go see a new one until you get the help you need! Advocacy is the key. Advocate for yourself and keep pushing! Follow your instincts. Never ever underestimate your gut feelings!

Thank you to @drthaisaliabadi and her amazing team of nurses. You guys truly make a difference for so many women!!

I have an angel on my shoulder protecting me, THANK YOU DAD

Diva Dirt sends our extreme love and support to Maryse during this time.

Dakota Kai Sticks By Bayley’s Side As Damage CTRL Lines Are Drawn

Damage CTRL isn’t how it was and the OG’s Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY remain on different terms.

On the Feb. 9 episode of SmackDown in a promo segment, Bayley said that she never asked for anything and that she put Damage CTRL first. Once Kairi Sane came back in the picture and Asuka joined group IYO and the group were laughing at her. Dakota Kai came out, and Bayley wondered where she was last Friday, feeling she was aligned with the rest of the group but Kai explained she was getting checked out as she is almost cleared to return

Kai also confirmed that she knew of the plan to oust Bayley, and wanted to tell her, but couldn’t. Bayley asked Kai where she stood, which brought out The Kabuki Warriors and SKY. They surrounded the ring as Kai dipped out. However, Kai emerged with a steel chair and fought off the rest of Damage CTRL. One the steel chair fell to the mat, Bayley kicked it unsure of Kai’s allegiance.

Bianca Belair Qualifies For Elimination Chamber; Two More Matches Confirmed

Bianca Belair will be joining Becky Lynch in Perth, Australia as both women have qualified for the Elimination Chamber.

On the Feb. 9 episode of SmackDown, Belair defeated Michin to claim her spot. Michin was on the offense for most of the match, but the strength of Belair won out in the end. Michin hit Eat Defeat but it knocked Belair over the rope to the ringside floor. Once back in the ring, Michin went for the Styles Clash, but Belair countered and landed the KOD for the win.

Two more qualifying matches are confirmed for next week. Naomi will return to the ring on SmackDown in two years as she faces Zelina Vega. Tiffany Stratton will face Shotzi. Liv Morgan takes on Zoey Stark on Monday’s Raw as well.

Bobby Lashley Has High Hopes On B-Fab

We finally, after months and months, have welcomed B-Fab into Bobby Lashley’s group. The group also consists of the Street Profits.

For months, B-Fab was seen talking with Lashley and nothing seemed to materialize until last Friday. During a match that was supposed to be between Lashley and the Street Profits vs. Karrion Kross and AOP things quickly broke down as the men brawled. Scarlett would get involved by jumping on the back of Lashley, but this is where B-Fab cemented her spot in the group and took out Scarlett

On this week’s WWE The Bump, Lashley talked about including B-Fab officially in the group –

“It was really cool. This is one thing, I said this before in another interview. Our women’s division is probably I believe even deeper than the men’s division, just with the amount of talent that we have on our women’s roster. So of course, with every one of these groups having formed, they all have someone on their roster that will be in that women’s category.

So I say it’s cool because we have so many women that are on the top, so if we would have had any one of them come in, it would have been fantastic. But we have a lot of women that are hungry, that are trying to make their break into that next level. B-Fab is one of those women that want to break into that next level. So it is awesome because I have an opportunity to help her make it to that level, hopefully by being in our group,” Lashley said. (Fightful)

Liv Morgan was also on The Bump and gave her thoughts on B-Fab. She gave her huge credit fro all the work she has been putting in.

Lashley continued, “She’s been telling me all about it. We’ve been having these discussions for a long time. I always keep up with Natty’s school anyway, so I’ve been seeing her up there, putting in the work. Every time we have conversations in the evening, she’s like, ‘I’m going to class, I’ll call you back after class is over.’ I know she’s there, and I know, aside from our world, I think the office sees that also, and they have high hopes for her. So hopefully we can get her to where she needs or has the ability to be.”

Ashley Massaro Accused Vince McMahon Of Sexually Preying On Wrestlers

0

*Trigger Warning: This article contains statements of sexual abuse*

More news is coming out about the late Ashley Massaro as her affidavit has been made public. Massaro, who passed away in May 2019, spoke out in her affidavit of her horrible experience in Kuwait while WWE was there in 2007 on a military base. Now, more has come out from the affidavit via a report by Vice.

Vice has uncovered a previously unpublished statement that was initially included as a section in the finalized affidavit but members of Massaro’s legal team. They ultimately decided to leave it out because it wasn’t clearly relevant given that the lawsuit was about concussions.

Erica Mirabella, who represented Massaro, “Our colleagues ultimately decided we should focus only on the sexual assault and physical in-ring injuries Ashley sustained, so I discussed this with Ashley and she agreed that we could remove it, so it was deleted. We then finalized the affidavit, she signed it, and we submitted it to the court.”

The statement from Massaro reads –

During my time with the WWE, I had observed Vince McMahon making-out with other divas in the locker room, but he never paid attention to me, and I assumed I was not his type. This changed after my Playboy cover was released. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to fly on the company jet and stay at the same hotels as the executives for a period of time so that I could get home faster to spend more time with my daughter. On one of these occasions, Vince was attempting to get me alone with him in his hotel room late at night and I felt extraordinarily uncomfortable. He began calling the hotel room phone and my cell phone nonstop. I called Kevin Dunn to explain the situation and he said I should tell Vince I was not feeling well and would see him on TV the next day, so I did. Immediately after that night, Vince started writing my promos for me. Vince does not write promos for female wrestlers—that is the job of the creative department—and he certainly wouldn’t have, under any normal circumstances, written a promo for me. But he did, and the promos were written with the clear intention of ruining my career. I brought the first script Vince wrote for me to the WWE employee in charge of Creative at the time, Michael Hayes, and he said, ‘you’re not saying this, who the [expletive] wrote this?’ and I told him that Vince did. He said, ‘Well kid, these are the breaks,’ meaning that Vince wanted to end my career and destroy my reputation on my way out. He is known for this type of behavior and also did this to [REDACTED] upon her departure from WWE. In addition, after that night, each time I walk by him he would make vulgar sexual comments that were clearly designed to make me uncomfortable.

Becky Lynch Says She’s Going To Make Rhea Ripley A Bottom

0

At the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event, the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley came out to address the crowd. And despite Ripley being fired up saying that it really doesn’t matter who her Mania opponent will be, she was interrupted by Becky Lynch.

Lynch states that she qualified on Monday to enter the Elimination Chamber for the first time. This means that she will have to win the chamber for the first time, which means she will challenge Ripley for the Women’s World Title. This also means it will be the first time Becky and Rhea will face off one-on-one.

Lynch would continue to say that Mami will learn what it’s like to be a bottom! Because that’s what happens when The Man comes around.

Oh!

Trinity Teams With Grace In Final TNA Match; Steelz Victorious

The February 8 episode of TNA IMPACT featured two Knockouts matches, including Trinity‘s last in the company.

Early in the show, Tasha Steelz and Xia Brookside clashed in a rematch from January. This one may have been on the shorter side, but it was filled with more intensity than their first encounter.

After trading punches, Brookside trapped Steelz in the octopus but Steelz shortly responded with a spinebuster. Xia attempted the Brooksie Bomb when Steelz went up top, but Steelz was able to hit a sunset to roll Brookside up. She used the tights and the ref counted three.

Later on, Hard To Kill rivals Jordynne Grace and Trinity teamed up in Trinity’s hometown of Orlando to take on Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans. Grace and Evans started off testing each other’s strength until Trinity came in briefly.

Grace was then double-teamed by Shaw and Evans until Trinity returned off the hot tag. A dropkick and crossbody from the top grounded Evans before Grace sent Shaw crashing into Jai. Trinity ultimately hit Code Red on Evans and tapped her out with Starstruck to end it. This officially marks the end of Trinity’s TNA run.

Looking ahead to next week, we will hear from Ash By Elegance.

It was also announced that TNA Rebellion will take place on Saturday, April 20, at The Palms in Las Vegas. This was the same venue that hosted Hard To Kill in January.

Bianca Belair vs. Michin Elimination Chamber Qualifier Set For Feb. 9

Bianca Belair and Michin will do battle on the Feb. 9 episode of SmackDown. The winner will join Becky Lynch as the second woman confirmed for the upcoming Elimination Chamber match. The winner of that will take on Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40.

A third qualifier match has already been announced for Raw on Monday between Liv Morgan and Zoey Stark.

Belair was at the kick off for WrestleMania 40 event on Thursday where she mentioned Sasha Banks. She said she made history with Banks at WrestleMania 37.

Latest News On The TNA Scott D’Amore Termination

0

For those who may have missed it, TNA President Scott D’Amore was terminated from his position within the company. The termination came directly from Anthem’s founder Leonard Asper.

The only information that was received on why the termination happened was that the parent company felt that TNA was becoming too D’Amore-centric with Scott as the face of the company.

According to PWInsider

There were a lot of people assuming something salacious happened to lead to D’Amore’s exit but we are told by sources close to Anthem that wasn’t the case.  While no one is clear as to why this decision was made, over the last day, the belief seems to settle on the idea that Len Asper, the head of Anthem, and D’Amore came to a cross-road where they disagreed on how TNA should be operated and only one person was going to win that butting of the heads – Asper.

The word making the rounds over the last day or so is that at some point in recent weeks, Scott D’Amore approached Anthem with an offer to buy TNA, said to have been backed by a letter with a major banking institution, but it was rebuffed.

According to some on the Anthem side, it was seen as a legitimate offer that was worthy of consideration, but the decision was made not to accept.

Tam Nakano Says She Will Be Staying With STARDOM

0

Former World of Stardom Champion, Tam Nakano, has gone on record to say she will be staying with STARDOM. This confirmation has been stated after the report that co-founder Rossy Ogawa’s termination. Ogawa has a lot of talent who will want to remain with him and possibly leave the STARDOM promotion moving forward.

Tam Nakano tells Tokyo Sports that she will be staying with STARDOM. Her goal is to make it the best company in the world.

She says she will protect STARDOM because it’s their fans that helped her get back. Nakano wants to repay them.

Tam also adds that she is planning to return to the top of STARDOM with the World of Stardom Championship back in her sights after having to relinquish the championship at the end of 2024.

Furthermore on Ogawa’s exit, he told Tokyo Sports he will be starting a new promotion.

NXT’s Amari Miller And WWE Part Ways

0

NXT’s Amari Miller, real name Camron Clay, states that neither she nor WWE have decided to re-sign and the two have parted ways.

According to Clay’s social media she has stated the following:

As Clay states, she worked for the company for three years. However, an ACL injury had her out of action for nearly a year. She returned just recently, but unfortunately only was limited to NXT Level Up.

Diva Dirt wishes the best for Clay in whatever life brings her next.

Toni Storm Taps Out Red Velvet, Teases Purrazzo On Dynamite

The February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite featured Toni Storm vs. Red Velvet with Deonna Purrazzo on commentary.

Velvet briefly controlled the pace in the beginning before Storm grounded her to the mat. Velvet rallied and took Storm down with a kick followed by a bulldog. Storm then tripped Velvet face-first into the turnbuckle and nailed her with a hip attack.

In the end, Storm tapped out Velvet with an ankle lock while staring down Purrazzo. When Storm wouldn’t release it, Purrazzo slid into the ring and came face to face with Storm, who pecked Deonna on the cheek. Luther ultimately split them up and Storm retreated as we’re less than a month away from Revolution.

Later on, Tony Khan officially announced that the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite will be “AEW Big Business” and will emanate from the TD Garden in Boston. Not only that, but the graphic was stylized as “Bu$iness” and the word “Bo$$ton” was featured in the background. This all but confirms the impending arrival of Mercedes Mone in AEW.

What did you think of this week’s Dynamite? Sound off below!

Mercedes Moné Has Been On AEW Payroll “For A While”

The last we heard of Mercedes Moné was that she will be appearing for the AEW promotion in March. Most likely said after the Revolution pay-per-view on March 3. AEW has confirmed that they will be at the TD Bank Arena in Boston, Moné’s hometown on March 13.

In a report from Fightful Select and Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio:

If you couldn’t tell, Mercedes Mone is headed to All Elite Wrestling. Fightful Select and Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio have learned more.

The company announced a TD Garden episode of Dynamite, specially titled Big Business which is to feature Mercedes, who has been on the company’s payroll since at least early January.

On December 29, Fightful reported that WWE stated that while they had talks with Mercedes, those talks had fallen through and the two sides couldn’t come to terms, similar to what happened prior with AEW. However, talks continued with AEW and we’re told that an agreement was in place around that time, which is likely why WWE was open to admitting that their talks had ceased.

There was consideration to announcing or debuting Mercedes, but instead the decision to pass on that for the TD Garden was set. We’ve heard there were several possibilities discussed, but that the February 7 show announcement and the March 13 show date have been set for several weeks.

When Fightful reached out about rumors that Mercedes could be highlighted as far back as New York’s Grand Slam show, we were told Mercedes was nowhere near being ready in the ring at that point. This was also confirmed by NJPW sources, when reports emerged that they were hoping to book Giulia vs. Mercedes. New Japan sources indicated that Mercedes was not cleared and had not actually resumed training, and had instead posted older footage. A pretty big piece of news relayed to Fightful from New Japan sources is that they do expect to have the ability to continue to work with Mercedes, and told Fightful it’s been discussed.

TNA Talent Speak Out On Scott D’Amore’s Exit

0

TNA talent is not happy with today’s news of the termination of Scott D’Amore. D’Amore was the promotions President and if it wasn’t for him, TNA would likely no longer exist. Talent was told today over a zoom call and let’s just say things are not starting off on a good foot.

A number of TNA talents were told that D’Amore “stepped down” which obviously wasn’t the case.

Per PWInsider

This didn’t sit well with some talents & as one wrestler said, “This wasn’t the way to start off” a relationship with the locker room, especially since so many had a connection with D’Amore & the vast majority liked him.

The meeting did not give talents a chance to ask any questions, which did not endear some talents to the changes.

The beginning of the call, when talents were informed about Scott D’Amore’s departure before Anthem execs joined them, was very angry for some talents.

One story making the way around TNA talents is that Anthem wanted the TNA brand to be more in-line with the parent company going forward and that the brand had been too D’Amore-centric with Scott D’Amore as the face of the company.

Jordynne Grace, Moose, Trinity (Naomi), KiLynn King, Tasha Steelz, Josh Alexander, Frankie Kazarian, and more have commented.

Most Upper Level WWE Management Knew Of Ashley Massaro’s Allegations Per New Statement

0

*Trigger Warning: This article contains discussion of sexual assault and rape*

Former WWE talent Ashley Massaro had unveiled what happened to her at a military base in Kuwait and that WWE has covered it up. The late Massaro, who tragically passed away in 2019, had an affidavit that was made public where she alleged WWE covered up that she was sexually assaulted while on a military base in 2007.

WWE had put out a statement at that time that no one including Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, Kevin Dunn, or any other management knew about the incident or asked the talent to keep it covered up.

According to the report by Vice:

In a sworn affidavit her lawyer released in 2019, after her death, former wrestler Ashley Massaro said that she was injected with a paralyzing drug and raped by someone representing himself as a U.S. Army doctor while on tour with WWE in Kuwait in 2006. Massaro also said that top executives at the company, including McMahon and Laurinaitis, told her not to talk about the incident and agreed to not talk about it themselves, in part to preserve the company’s relationship with the military.

“He told me not to let one bad experience ruin the good work they were doing,” Massaro said of McMahon in the affidavit.

VICE News can report for the first time that the Naval Criminal Intelligence Service opened an investigation into Massaro’s allegations in June 2019. That investigation was closed in January 2020, according to an NCIS spokesperson. Further information, they said, could not be immediately released, as it would need to be obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.

“I’m not surprised by any of it,” London said of the recent claims against McMahon on a podcast released last week. He compared WWE to NXVIM, the cult led by now-convicted sex trafficker Keith Raniere.

Now, among the new lawsuit against McMahon and Laurinaitis on alleged sex trafficking from former employee Janel Grant – the lawyer for John Laurinaitis objected to the use of the term “cover-up,” but confirmed that Laurinaitis knew about the allegations from Massaro. And now said “most upper level management” was aware which is of course is contradictory to their prior claim.

“Any allegations that Mr. Laurinaitus helped to cover up an alleged rape allegation is an outright lie,” wrote Laurinaitis’ lawyer, Edward Brennan, in response to questions about Massaro’s allegations. “Johnny, like most upper level management at sometime became aware of the allegations and ensured all proper WWE protocols were followed, including privacy for the alleged victim. We object to the use of the term cover up as no such plan or plot ever took place to hide or assist in the alleged rape.”

A spokesperson for TKO, WWE’s parent company, declined to comment, and a lawyer said to represent McMahon did not respond to requests for comment. Neither McMahon nor Laurinaitis is now associated with WWE, with McMahon resigning as chairman of TKO the day after the sex trafficking suit was filed.

TNA President Scott D’Amore Terminated From Company

TNA President Scott D’Amore has reportedly been terminated by the company.

According to PWInsider, the following information has been given:

Just weeks after the company held its most successful weekend in years, Hard to Kill in Las Vegas, Scott D’Amore is out as the TNA President, PWInsider.com can confirm.  D’Amore has been terminated by TNA parent company Anthem Sports and Entertainment.  The belief among those we have spoken with is the decision came directly from Anthem owner Len Asper.

TNA parent company Anthem Sports and Entertainment will be stepping in and taking a much larger role in the day to day management and strategies of the promotion.  TNA will be folded into Anthem’s entertainment arm going forward, as opposed to existing in its own corner of the company.  The idea is that this will allow TNA to become embraced more by Anthem and have a stronger synergy, in order to maximize what each side has to offer the other.   As part of that integration, D’Amore has been removed from power and is gone, effective immediately.

TNA staff and wrestlers will be addressed today regarding D’Amore’s firing, PWInsider.com is told.

PWInsider.com had been chasing this story over the last week and after multiple requests for comment, received the following statement minutes ago, confirming today that Anthony Cicone, Anthem’s President of Entertainment, has been named the new President of TNA Wrestling and will run the day to day of the promotion:

Anthony Cicione Named President of TNA Wrestling

Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc., a global multi-platform media company, announced today the appointment of Anthony Cicione as the President of TNA Wrestling.

The move aims to further integrate TNA Wrestling into Anthem’s Entertainment Group, of which Cicione is the President, leveraging the entire Company’s resources to add more value in areas including production, distribution, marketing, viewership, customer acquisition, digital revenue streams, ad sales and sponsorships, digital tech operations, and more.

Cicione replaces Scott D’Amore, whose contract with Anthem has been terminated. D’Amore has been a part of TNA since 2003. He held many key leadership positions and played a vital role in the growth of the company leading to its strong industry reputation today, including the successful return of the TNA Wrestling brand in 2024. Anthem thanks him for the commitment he brought to the business, the talent, and the people who work outside the ring.

In addition to these duties as President of Entertainment, Cicione will now manage the day-to-day business operations for TNA Wrestling. He brings more than 30 years of executive-level management experience to the organization. Cicione has been with Anthem for the last 16 years, managing technical operations and multiple cable and digital channels. Prior to his time with Anthem, Cicione was a producer of sports content including catapulting The Score to success by bringing WWE to the channel.

Furthermore, PWInsider has stated that there were rumblings of changes coming, however, D’Amore’s dismissal has to be a shock to many in the promotion on the surface.

The full report can be read here.

D’Amore had been in this position since 2017 and worked with Global Force Wrestling prior. He worked with TNA also from 2003 to 2010.

Liv Morgan’s Court Case Has Been Closed

0

Based on the Sumter County Court records, the criminal case against Liv Morgan has been closed. A fine of $543.00 is shown.

Morgan’s attorney entered a plea of Nolo-Contendere in regard to the charge. The plea means the defendant does not accept or deny responsibility for the charges but waives the right to a trial and agrees to accept the penalty. The plea differs from a guilty plea because a “no contest” plea cannot be used against the defendant in another cause of action.

In December, the Raw Superstar was arrested and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid and possession of cannabis (20 grams or less). The first charge was later dropped while the second charge was transferred to another court.

During this incident, Morgan was out due to injury. She returned at the 2024 Royal Rumble and has since appeared on Raw looking for revenge against Rhea Ripley. She faces Zoey Stark on the Feb. 12 episode of Raw to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match. The winner of that will go to face Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40.

NXT Discussion Post: 02.06.24

  • Tonight’s NXT is fall out from Vengeance Day and there is at least two women’s matches set for the show.
  • Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice
  • Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Fallon Henley & Wren Sinclair

And what might this mean?

Kamille Reportedly In “Deep Discussion” With AEW

Once seemed a likely landing spot in WWE, Kamille is now reportedly in “deep discussion” with AEW.

The former NWA World Women’s Champion had previously been reported to have received an offer for WWE to be in NXT.

Per PWInsider

Former NWA Womens Champion, Kamille, at this time, is no longer expected to be WWE-bound.

While there had been interest and according to one WWE source in the past, had been offered an NXT deal, discussions are not moving forward.

Kamille was recently backstage at an AEW show.

Tag Team Match Added To Feb. 6 NXT

0

A women’s tag team match has been added to tonight’s episode of NXT.

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will be taking on Wren Sinclair and Fallon Henley. Tensions between these four women have been increasing since Sinclair eliminated Legend during her debut in the Battle Royal several weeks back. Last week, Legend and Jackson cost Henley her match against Arianna Grace.

Previously confirmed for tonight was also a match between Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice.

Becky Lynch Qualifies For Elimination Chamber Match; Kabuki Warriors Retain

0

It has been confirmed that the women will have an Elimination Chamber match this month at the event with the same name. The winner of the chamber match will go on to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.

Generally with six women in this match, we now know the first participant and that will be Becky Lynch. She defeated Shayna Baszler on Raw this week to qualify.

Baszler was talked up a lot by commentary during this match as she is a former chamber winner in 2020. In fact, she eliminated all five women and went on to face Lynch at WrestleMania that year. This time however, Lynch was able to halt Baszler entering the chamber match this year as she took her out with the ManHandle Slam for the three count.

Backstage watching the match was Liv Morgan. She had a message of revenge for Rhea Ripley and she will have to qualify for the Elimination Chamber and win to get to Ripley. She will be facing Zoey Stark next week in a qualifying match.

Also on this weeks Raw, Valhalla and Ivar defeated Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa in a mixed tag match. Ivar got the pin on Tozawa.

The Kabuki Warriors defended the Women’s Tag Team Titles against the team they defeated to win them in a rematch. There was a promo video for Kayden Carter and Katana Chance prior to the match. Carter and Chance nearly won the titles back off of the After Party but to no avail as Kairi Sane broke up the fall at the last possible moment.

The KC’a attempted the Keg Stand but landed empty handed as Sane took out the leg of Carter and Asuka moved out of the way from Chance. Finally, Sane would hit the InSane Elbow on Chance to get the win and to retain.

In a Digital Exclusive, Lynch says last time she beat Shayna she was three or four weeks pregnant. So it became full circle to defeat her again as Roux has been training her mom for victory!

Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax Set For Elimination Chamber

The two will finally be going one-on-one as Nia Jax will challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. This will be in Ripley’s home country of Australia in Perth.

The match was made official on the Feb. 5 episode of Raw by General Manager Adam Pearce. Ripley made her way out to the ring “unscheduled” and called out Jax because she was furious about what took place last week. Pearce made his way out and told her this wasn’t gonna happen now, but at Elimination Chamber.

Jax made her way out anyway and ran over Pearce to get to Ripley in the ring. Security was called but it didn’t stop Jax from taking out Ripley once again with the Annihilator.

The last time Ripley defended the title at a premium live event was in November at Survivor Series against Zoey Stark.

Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice Added To Feb. 6 NXT

0

The Vengeance Day event may be over, but Roxanne Perez is wanting some vengeance against Lola Vice.

Vice took Perez’s one-on-one match against Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Title and made it into a Triple Threat when she cashed in her Breakout Tournament contract this past Sunday. Perez isn’t going to take this lightly as she feels cheated because of Vice’s inclusion in the match which Valkyria ended up retaining – thanks in part to Tatum Paxley.

Also who will be next for Valkyria?

Tune in Tuesday night and check back in with Diva Dirt to talk about the show live.
