Shotzi Would Like To Enter The Royal Rumble At Number One

0

It comes to no surprise that the daredevil herself, Shotzi, would want to be entrant number one in the Royal Rumble match.

While speaking with Jimmy Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Shotzi had the following to say about the upcoming Rumble match.

Number one! Number one. I want to be the longest surviving and win it that way. I am a workhorse and I want to prove myself. The best way to prove yourself is to come in number one and still win. I want to be there the longest. I don’t want any shortcuts. I want to work for my win.” (Fightful)

The only woman to win from the number one spot so far was last year’s winner Rhea Ripley.

She went on to talk about new gear she will be sporting as well, “Of course, I have some new gear for the Rumble and a new entrance jacket. That is a must. My husband does a lot of my entrance jackets. Whatever you see me wearing for the Rumble, he designed it.”

Roxanne Perez vs. Lyra Valkyria Set For Vengeance Day

0

Roxanne Perez wins the number one contender Battle Royal/Fatal Four Way to challenge Lyra Valkyria at Vengeance Day. The event is set to take place on Feb. 4.

The field was stacked with 20 women all wanting to become number one contender. This included the debut of Madi Wrenkowski, now known as Wren Sinclair.

The order of the eliminations were as follows:

  • Jakara Jackson
  • Adriana Rizzo
  • Jaida Parker
  • Stevie Turner
  • Brinley Reece
  • Elektra Lopez
  • Lola Vice
  • Gigi Dolin
  • Blair Davenport
  • Tatum Paxley
  • Karmen Petrovic
  • Arianna Grace
  • Thea Hail
  • Izzi Dame
  • Lash Legend
  • Wren Sinclair

The match then turned into a Fatal Four-way which included Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, Kiana James, and Fallon Henley.

Notable moments of the match included at the beginning, Jaida Parker and Adriana Rizzo brawled on the outside before being eliminated. Storyline there between OTM and The Family.

After eliminating Brinley Reece to help out Lola Vice, Elektra Lopez was shocked when Vice then eliminated her. Vice was then eliminated by Tatum Paxley. Vice and Lopez are seemingly done as a team as they brawled to the back.

Blair Davenport was eliminated by Karmen Petrovic who paid the price as Davenport knocked her out cold. She put Petrovic back in the ring who just laid there. This was until the opportunistic Arianna Grace picked her up and eliminated her.

Wren Sinclair had a huge elimination in that of Lash Legend.

The Fatal Four way was fantastic between the final four. Final moments had Kelani thinking she had the win as she went for the split legged moonsault onto Kiana but Izzi Dame return and pulled Kiana out of the way. This allowed Roxanne to hit Pop Rox on Kelani for the win.

Lyra Valkyria came our afterwards and exchanged glances with Perez as the show went off the air.

Elsewhere on this weeks show, Valkyria and Paxley defeated Vice and Lopez prior to the Battle Royal. Paxley took a hit for Valkyria which caused her to fall on Lopez for the win.
