Raw Preview, Nov. 6: Crown Jewel Fallout

0

The Raw episode for Nov.6 will be the fallout from Crown Jewel.

Rhea Ripley proved why she is on top of the Raw women’s division as she is still the Women’s World Champion. She defeated four other women (Nia Jax, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler) to retain the gold.

What will be next for these five women?

Last week, Xia Li had a knockout victory over Candice LeRae. She ran into Becky Lynch once again and said they will have a match when she is ready to.

One-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green defeated Natalya last week in a Trick or Street Fight. Since then the tag champs defeated Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne in NXT but lost to Charlotte Flair and Shotzi on SmackDown.

Please check back in with Diva Dirt tonight to talk about Raw live.

Sareee Reportedly Signs Multi-Year Deal With Sukeban

0

Former NXT Superstar Sarray (Sareee in Japan) has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with Sukeban.

According to the newest report from PWInsider, Sareee has signed what has been described as a multi-year deal with Sukeban to return to the United States.

This would bring Sareee, who chose to exit WWE at the conclusion of her contract and had been greatly underutilized during her title there, back to the States regularly.  She will debut as part of the promotion’s second event next month in Miami, Florida.

PWInsider previously reported that Sareee was looking to return to the U.S. but not with WWE. Fightful Select stated that WWE had interest in her.

Red Velvet Returns To The Ring On Dynamite Nov. 8

AEW’s Red Velvet will be returning to the ring for the first time in nine months as she is taking on Julia Hart this Wednesday. Hart is returning to the ring as well for the first time in a month as she was away to get married and have her honeymoon.

On the Nov. 4 episode of Collision, Willow Nightingale defeated Emi Sakura.

Kairi Sane Returns To WWE At Crown Jewel, Helps IYO SKY Retain

0

The Pirate Princess is back!

Kairi Sane has returned to WWE and has made a huge impression in the SmackDown women’s division by returning to the company at Crown Jewel. She returned at the end of the WWE Women’s Championship match to help IYO SKY retain against Bianca Belair.

Final moments of the match had Bayley come out to assist much to the disapproval of SKY. SKY inadvertently knocks Bayley down on the outside as she was going for Belair. With SKY back in the ring and the referee distracted, Belair had Bayley up in position for the KOD as she tried to land it on the announce desk. Enter Kairi Sane.

Sane took out Belair without the referee’s notice. Once back in the win, SKY gets the pin on Belair. Post-match, Bayley watches in surprise on the outside as Sane hits the insane elbow on Belair and both SKY and Sane celebrate. Commentary references Bayley as the one who took out Sane from the WWE the last time we saw her.

Earlier in the event we had Rhea Ripley retain in a Fatal Five way for the Women’s World Championship. The other competitors were Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez. A really strong outing by all five women but it would be the Eradicator that would prove why she is champion.

The final moments had Ripley Riptide Stark off the top rope on top of Rodriguez and Baszler. Ripley pins Baszler to retain.

WarGames Returns To Survivor Series On Nov. 25

The main roster is keeping WarGames this year as for the second year in a row the match type will be featured on Survivor Series.

A former NXT staple was brought to Survivor Series last year which witnessed Team Bianca vs. Team Damage CTRL. Becky Lynch from Team Bianca hit a leg drop from the top of the cage through a table and onto Dakota Kai and IYO SKY and pinned Kai for the victory.

Who do we think we are getting in this year’s WarGames match?

WWE Crown Jewel Predictions: 11.04.23

0

Crown Jewel is taking place on Saturday Nov. 4 with a start time in the United States at 1PM ET/10AM PT.

There are two women’s matches on the card and both championship matches. The matches are listed below followed by our predictions:

WWE Women’s Championship

IYO SKY (c) vs. Bianca Belair

Women’s World Championship

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Stark vs. Shayna Baszler

PREDICTIONS

WWE Women’s Championship

NICK: I feel a lot of this match will determine if Kairi shows up. Regardless, I still think that IYO is gonna retain. If they aren’t going to have her drop it to Charlotte yet then why drop it to Bianca? Unless Charlotte will chase Bianca for the title until Mania. I am gonna keep with IYO retaining.

WINNER: IYO SKY

COLBY: This is probably the match I’m most excited for from the entire card. Again, the build has been meh but the story writes itself after Belair beat SKY in a MOTY contender at Backlash and then IYO cashed in her MITB contract on The EST at SummerSlam. I have no doubt these two will deliver again, although I’m not as confident on who I think will/should win. I don’t want IYO’s reign to end yet, but Belair being back in the picture, coupled with Kairi Sane‘s impending return, poses many questions. I think I’ll stick with the champ for this one.

WINNER: IYO SKY

World Women’s Championship

NICK: I think the easiest answer for this is just for Ripley to retain, bur we have witnessed from the rest of the Judgment Day that they can lose their titles and get them back again. I feel the title will change and Rhea will win it back in a few weeks. I think this is going to Nia Jax.

WINNER: Nia Jax

COLBY: I don’t think we’ve seen a multi-woman feud like this since maybe 2017, so I was on board with the storyline as soon as it started even though it may not have delivered as some had hoped. Rhea’s reign doesn’t seem to have an expiration date nearing even though this would be the perfect opportunity for her to drop the title without being pinned since WWE insists on protecting her so much. Some may deem it controversial, but I think Nia has been the most entertaining part of this whole ordeal and I wouldn’t mind seeing her win the title again. Despite, I feel confident in saying that Mami will remain on top after Saturday.

WINNER: Rhea Ripley

Trinity Retains At Turning Point; Gail Kim Hits Purrazzo With Eat Defeat

0

IMPACT’s Turning Point that was previous taped last week in the UK aired on Friday Nov. 3. At this event was a match for the Knockouts World Title as Trinity defending against Deonna Purrazzo. Gail Kim served as the special guest referee and if Purrazzo lost this would be the last time she can go for the title while Trinity is champion.

As we approach the back half of the match, Purrazzo applies the fujiwara armbar, however, Trinity grabs the bottom rope to escape the submission. The two trade forearms as Trinity gets a near fall. Purrazzo follows up with Queen’s Gambit for a near fall of her own but then argues with Kim.

Trinity gets The Virtuosa into Starstruck but Purrazzo counters and rolls Trinity up to escape. Trinity follows up with a sit out buster and applies Starstruck again. This time, Purrazzo taps out.

Post-match, Purrazzo goes after Trinity and then gets into it with Kim. The two shove each other before Purrazzo lays a slap on Kim. Kim has had enough and hits Eat Defeat on Purrazzo.

Other Knockout results of the night included, Jordynne Grace defeating Dani Luna with the Grace Driver. Gisele Shaw also picked up a victory against Alex Windsor off of a running knee.

Bianca Belair Takes Out Bayley, Sending A Clear Message To IYO SKY

Bianca Belair returned to the ring on the Nov. 3 episode of SmackDown and sent a clear message to her Crown Jewel opponent. Tomorrow, Belair will be taking on IYO SKY, challenging her for the WWE Women’s Title. However, she had her sights on an old foe in that of Bayley first.

Belair returned two weeks ago after a two month hiatus and went right after Damage CTRL, and wanted to take Bayley out first. She did that and more. They main evented the last show prior to Crown Jewel.

Prior to the match, Damage CTRL tried to do damage to Belair prior to the match during a backstage interview.

The final moments of the match had Belair and Bayley playing tug of war with Belair’s braid. Belair got the better of it as she whipped Bayley’s midsection with her braid before hoisting her up in the KOD. Belair gets the pin.

Post match, Belair isn’t finished as she delivers another KOD to Bayley on top of the announce table as she sends a message to IYO SKY.

Elsewhere on this week’s SmackDown, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Piper Niven and Chelsea Green challenged Shotzi to a match. They figured she had no friends so there would be nobody who wanted to team with her. For some reason (when Scarlett is right there), Charlotte Flair is a friend of Shotzi! The two teams have a match.

The final moments of the match had Green get a blind tag and go up top…but Flair dodged the plan. Flair delivered a big boot to Green to get the three count and the victory. This has earned Shotzi and Flair a future WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match with a date to be announced.

The Unholy Union looked on during the tag match.

B-Fab was also backstage this week where she approached Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. She gave a compliment to the Profits and then asked to speak with Lashley to which he obliged.

SmackDown Discussion Post: 11.03.23

Tonight’s SmackDown was previously taped due to the talent being in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel tomorrow.

What is confirmed tonight is –

Bianca Belair vs. Bayley

Shotzi/Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green/Piper Niven – non-title

Possible Name Set For Return At Crown Jewel Event

*Please note that this article contains a possible spoiler for the upcoming Crown Jewel event*

PWInsider is staying on top of the Kairi Sane news and they are now saying that she may be returning as early as Nov. 4’s Crown Jewel event.

It was confirmed yesterday both by PWInsider and WrestleVotes that Kairi Sane was placed back on the WWE internal roster yesterday afternoon.  The word making the rounds this morning among talent is that Sane may be returning as soon as tomorrow’s Crown Jewel.  Further expectation among those PWInsider has spoken to in Japan is that Sane will be Stateside this month.

Check in with Diva Dirt to talk about Crown Jewel live on Nov. 4.

Trinity And Purrazzo Score Victories Ahead Of IMPACT Turning Point

This week’s IMPACT Wrestling featured highlights from the company’s recent show in Glasgow, Scotland.

In mixed tag action, Deonna Purrazzo teamed with Moose and Brian Myers to take on Subculture’s Dani Luna, Mark Andrews, and Flash Morgan Webster. Intergender rules applied, which afforded Luna the opportunity to not back down from either Myers or Moose.

Purrazzo mostly worked Luna and nearly won the match for her team with the legsweep and armbar combo, but Andrews broke it up. In the closing moments, Purrazzo booted Webster before Luna dragged her out. Moose then hit Andrews with a Spear to win it for their team.

Later on, Knockouts World Champion Trinity battled Emersyn Jayne in a non-title bout. Jayne declined to shake Trinity’s hand, which didn’t sit well with the champ.

Jayne was able to showcase her strength with a sliding German suplex and a Northern Lights suplex in an attempt to put Trinity away. In the end, the Rear View and the sit-out bomb afforded Trinity the victory just 24 hours before her next title defense.

As noted, Trinity will defend the Knockouts title against Purrazzo one more time at Turning Point on Friday. Gail Kim will serve as the special guest referee, and if Purrazzo loses, she cannot challenge Trinity again.

Looking ahead, Purrazzo has been announced for next week’s show as she goes one-on-one with her Bound For Glory tag partner Tasha Steelz in Chicago.

As for Athena, on this week’s episode of ROH, she retained her gold against former champion Mercedes Martinez.

Kairi Sane Reportedly Added To WWE Internal Roster

0

Kairi Sane is reportedly still on her way back to WWE and is now listed on their internal roster. This is according to WrestleVotes, who broke the news earlier today.

The news of Sane’s return was first mentioned by PWInsider back in August. It was said that she had to wrap up shows in Japan, which she has, and then pending any travel documentation she would return to WWE. This is news that PWInsider further confirmed today saying it is unsure if she will appear at Crown Jewel.

Sane has not been assigned to a brand at this time.

The November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Hikaru Shida defend her AEW Women’s World Championship once again, but this time against Willow Nightingale.

Willow’s momentum early on was cut off by a dive to the outside from Shida. The champ eventually landed an avalanche Falcon Arrow before Nightingale came back at her with a pounce and Death Valley Driver. But after a knee strike and Katana, Shida secured the pinfall win to retain.

Afterward, Toni Storm made her way out to the stage only for Shida to strike her.

Then Julia Hart appeared in the ring to confront Nightingale, but Skye Blue marched down and intervened to prevent a handshake. Blue then misted Hart to end the staredown.

Looking ahead, Skye Blue will be in action on Friday’s Rampage against Marina Shafir.

Piper Niven & Chelsea Green Retain, Unholy Union Looks On

0

Piper Niven and Chelsea Green took a little trip to Orlando as they defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on night two of NXT’s Halloween Havoc. They faced the Chase U team of Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne.

Prior to this match, the Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) made a return to NXT and took over the hosting duties from Scarlett and Shotzi. They continue with the idea that the tag titles are cursed and they end up watching the tag title match from the raven’s nest.

As for the match itself, all four women had food chemistry but it would be Jayne who would try to steal a win. As Duke Hudson was distractinf the referee, she went for the men’s tag title belt to use as a weapon. Andre Chase pulled it away from her and wouldn’t let her use it. This distraction allowed Green to hit the Unprettiher on Jayne to get the win and retain.

There was a match set between Fallon Henley and Tiffany Stratton but it never took place. Stratton instead jumped Henley from behind.

Meta-four dressed up as the cast of Scooby Doo entered a Haunted House to try and get the Heritage Cup back from Akira Tozawa who stole it last week.

More news came out about Deadline returning as the December premium live event. The Iron Survivor Challenge is back and qualifying matches start next week.

Vice defeated Kelani Jordan in the finals on night two of Halloween Havoc. Jordan was distracted by Elektra Lopez who hopped up on the apron as she went to hit the split legged moonsault. Vice would move out of the way as Jordan landed on her already injured knee. Vice hits a roundhouse kick to take Jordan down for the count of three. From this win, Vice now has a contract for a future title opportunity.

Lyra Valkyria, who is the new NXT Women’s Champion after defeating Becky Lynch last week, had a vignette video air from her win.

Xia Li Delivers A Knockout To Candice LeRae; Chelsea Green Wins Trick or Street Fight

0

Xia Li competes in her first match on Raw since being drafted to the brand six months ago. She took on Candice Michelle….errr I mean LeRae and the match was a short but effective one.

Li would win the match due to referee stoppage.

After a knee from Li would bounce LeRae ofd the ropes, Li hit her with a roundhouse kick knocking her out. LeRae would eventually try to get up but would stumble back in the corner. The referee held Li back as she called for the bell.

LeRae would exit the ring on her feet but with medical by her side. Later on we see LeRae backstage with ice as she is being checked by medical. She has Indi Hartwell, Kayden Carted, and Katana Chance with her.

Later in the night was the Trick or Street Fight match between one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Natalya. Natalya was dressed as a bunny (not The Bunny) while Green was Bret Hart and Piper Niven was Natalya’s father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.

The match included candy corn kendo sticks, tables, chairs, pumpkins, bobbing for apples, and to mention actual candy corn! During the match, Nikki Cross made an appearance as was hiding under a pumpkin that was on a table. This spooked Green so much that she dropped a pumpkin on her head.

Final moments in the match had Green hit the Unprettyher for the win.

Becky Lynch was interviewed about her NXT Women’s Championship loss. She said that the title needed her, she didn’t need the title. She defended that gold more in 42 days than both Rhea Ripley and Roman Reigns have defended their titles.

Xia Li approached Becky saying she never got her championship opportunity and that she still wants a shot at Becky. She adds she will fight her on her own time. Lynch then says what everyone has been thinking, Xia has had the past three weeks.

This weekend on Nov. 4 at Crown Jewel, a Fatal Five way will take place for the Women’s World Title. The champion Rhea Ripley will defend against Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler. Each woman had a promo video air during this week’s Raw as a final build.
