Following her big debut on Monday’s Raw, new Divas Champion Paige spoke to BBC Radio about the surreal experience.
How it feels to be Divas Champion: “I couldn’t have asked for a better reaction, and everyone was so supportive backstage…I couldn’t stop crying, and I’ve been Skyping with family ever since.”
Getting congratulations from wrestling legends: “It’s overwhelming because these are the people I grew up watching…It just blows my mind that these guys are now talking to me and telling me how proud they are. It’s incredible!”
Getting on the WrestleMania 31 card: “First I want to get my spot on the British tour in the middle of May, but I would definitely say next year’s WrestleMania, I’m going to try and get there.”
