Tonight at Payback, Bayley defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss. Can Alexa Bliss become the first woman to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships? The Diva Dirt team weighs in:
Abir: It’s Bayley’s hometown, so we’re bound to think that Alexa is gonna win. But we’re gonna need to see Sasha Banks face Bayley, and I doubt we’ll be seeing it without the title involved, so Bayley will win.
Alex: Bayley will be winning this one and if she doesn’t, then it would be a really bad move for both women involved. Alexa is fresh off the press, but winning the title after 2 weeks would be a completely wasted opportunity of a long build feud (Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live is the exact same situation). This match is probably going to be one to test the waters, all eyes will be on Alexa as she’s really playing with the big girls now. I predict that Bayley will retain with a clean Bayley-to-belly.
Candace: I think Alexa Bliss is going to win!
Josue: First off, I’m surprised that this match is even happening. I was so sure we’d be getting Nia Jax versus Bayley at this PPV but I’m happy for the curve ball thrown at us. We’re all waiting for Sasha to turn heel and that hasn’t happened yet, so with that in mind I’m going to go with Bayley winning tonight.
Matthew: I got Bayley to get the win. I like Alexa but Bayley has been on a roll lately.
Stephanie: Bayley wins.
