As of tonight’s RAW, Peyton Royce, Alexa Bliss, and Shayna Baszler have been added to the list of the Royal Rumble match competitors. Royce was actually announced right before RAW and Bliss declared herself during Alexa’s Playground.
As for Baszler, she roughly was announced when Nia Jax was the first declared for the rumble. She was never added to the official list by WWE until tonight. Commentary confirmed she would be part of the rumble during her match tonight against Mandy Rose.
At this point, Royce, Bliss, and Baszler make now nine women who have been confirmed for the 30-woman match. With the rosters of both RAW and SmackDown being less than 30, there is a good chance all the women will be included.
Although not announced yet, Carmella will most likely have a rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Title against Sasha Banks at the upcoming event. Champions are generally not included in the rumble match which means that Asuka may not be in it as well. With that being said, there isn’t a clear challenger for Asuka’s RAW Women’s Title as she has not defended it since Nov. 23 against Lana. Her tag team partner and co-tag team champion Charlotte Flair has declared herself in the rumble match.
