One of the Performance Center’s newest recruits just stepped into an NXT ring for the first time since signing with WWE earlier this year. Rachael Evers – better known as Ellering – made her debut last Thursday at an NXT Live show in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was on the losing end of a tag team match with Deonna Purazzo against Mia Yim and Taynara Conti.
When we originally reported about the February class of Performance Center recruits, Ellering’s name was a name that stood out. Rachael is the daughter of Paul Ellering, former manager to The Road Warriors and Authors of Pain, as well as a WWE Hall of Famer. Sh has wrestled all over the world, most notably in Stardom, SHIMMER, SHINE and briefly in IMPACT Wrestling. She also trained under the tutelage of Lance Storm at his Storm Wrestling Academy.
Ellering previously competed on WWE TV as Rachel Evers for the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Mae Young Classic tournament. For anyone wondering, Ellering was billed as Rachael Evers in her NXT debut and she will be competed in WWE under that name going forward. Now that she’s competed in her first NXT house show, Rachael Evers is one step closer to appearing on NXT TV.
