The first Raw of the year is here and let’s check out the fallout from the Day 1 event.
There is nothing officially scheduled/announced for tonight at the time of this writing. However, let’s recap what has been happening.
Liv Morgan battled Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship on Sunday but was unable to capture her first title in WWE. This was Morgan’s second shot at the gold and with the Royal Rumble coming up at the end of the month, will she get a third or will she be moved to the back of the line?
There’s always the Royal Rumble match itself to look forward to as well.
Also at Day 1, Beth Phoenix made her return to help Edge defeat The Miz while chasing off Maryse. Maryse was ringside to help her husband in every way that she could until Phoenix returned. Maryse retreated up the ramp allowing Edge to get the win.
Bianca Belair seemingly ended her feud with Doudrop after defeating her for a third time in a row after delivering a KOD. What is next for both women?
Carmella accepted a Women’s Tag Team Title rematch with her and Queen Zelina to defend the titles against Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. A date hasn’t been determined for this rematch, but will we receive more information tonight?
And will we see anything from Dana Brooke tonight with the 24/7 Championship? Tamina has been trying to capture the title for weeks.
