All eyes will be on Raw tonight for hopefully a stellar fallout from the exciting SummerSlam.
Bianca Belair is still the Raw Women’s Champion after putting on a clinic with Becky Lynch to open up the biggest event of the Summer. The match not only put the fans on their feet to start the show but was arguably the best of the night. What would come after this match though left people on their feet as three women would show up to change the landscape of the Raw women’s division.
Bayley first returned after over a year absence due to injury, but she didn’t come alone. Dakota Kai, who was released from WWE in April, made a shocking return to a smiling Bayley. Lastly, NXT’s Io Shirai, now going by the name of IYO SKY, made her official main roster debut and joined both Bayley and Dakota to seemingly form a new faction.
The three would approach Belair in the ring before Lynch would have her back after an incredible match and a handshake between the two showing the utmost respect. Belair vs. Lynch has been one of the best storytelling arcs over a year’s time in recent memory.
In addition to this, Lynch has reportedly suffered an injury to her shoulder. What will be explained from this tonight and what happens next?
There have been rumors circulating that Naomi and Sasha Banks may be making their return. And as early as tonight. There hasn’t been anything concrete or a reliable source to note this. If they were to come back tonight, making the save for Bianca may be the best bet.
Although everyone will be focused on this unfolding, let’s not forget the rest of the roster. With SummerSlam marking the first full show under Triple H’s reign as head of creative, where will we see this benefit the rest of the roster?
