Each week, as long as Brooke and Robbie E are in The Amazing Race competition, we’ll recap the newest episode, updating fans on where #TheWrestlers stand in the race.
This week, the final four teams head to the Philippines. Brooke and Robbie depart second. Once in Manila, they’ll head to the Baclaran Church to pick up their next clue.
At the airport, they skirt around The Sweet Scientists’ questions about last episode’s deception. They manage to convince them that they didn’t intend to mislead them.
When they land in Manila, the teams take jeepneys to Baclaran Church.
At Baclaran Church, they must wait until 6:30am the next morning to get the clue.
When they finally get the next clue, they’re directed to Rosari Municipal Plaza, where they need to find Salinas Specials. There, they meet the leg’s detour: Catch or Coach.
In Catch, teams must wade into Manila Bay, transport fish to the shore and fill three buckets. In Coach, they’ll need to assemble a side car and mount it onto a motorcycle.
Brooke and Robbie are the only team to choose Catch, filling a basin and carrying them to shore, transferring them by hand to a bucket.
Robbie’s grossed out by touching the fish, while Brooke gets cut by the fish’s bones.
On the second trip, things go a little haywire and they start snapping at each other.
As they continue, their teamwork improves, and they manage to fill three buckets over the course of four trips. They emerge into first place.
They then head to the Rice Fields, where they meet a switchback challenge. They must use an ox-driven plow to find their next clue in a pond.
Brooke takes the lead, as Robbie has a fear of animals. It’s an incredibly tough challenge, though, and soon the other three teams catch up to them.
The Dentists and The Scientists find their clues first. Not longer after, The Soul Surfers find their clue simultaneously with Brooke and Robbie. It turns into a footrace to the leg’s pit stop.
Brooke and Robbie arrive just after The Surfers, but in a miraculous stroke of luck, Phil reveals that this was a non-elimination leg. They will, however, have to complete a speed bump during the next leg of the race.
Despite coming in last, Brooke and Robbie live to race another day!
The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8pm ET on CBS.
