Red Velvet becomes All Elite as she is officially signed to AEW

Finally.

Since June of last year, Red Velvet has been putting in the work and has been a mainstay for AEW programming. Cody Rhodes took to his social media to announce that she is now officially All Elite.

Red Velvet has shown time and time again that she is a top star for the AEW women’s division. She stepped up and stood alongside Cody during the Crossroads event where they faced the debuting Jade Cargill and Shaq. A match where both women shined and were given the time to elevate the women’s division.

Since November, Red Velvet has been undefeated in singles competition. Last week she was sitting at the top spot for the women’s rankings and now is firmly placed in the number two spot just behind Tay Conti.

She is currently in a brewing feud with Cargill and last week’s Dynamite saw the two being held back from colliding. This week Cargill produced a promo calling out Red Velvet saying that they both can’t be at the top.

You can see Red Velvet’s time so far in AEW below in her Rising Star promo that was released this week.

A huge congratulations to Red Velvet for finally getting her All Elite announcement. Very well deserved!
