Red Velvet finally wins gold in her career with ROH/AEW as she is crowned the new ROH Women’s World TV Champion.
Velver defeated the inaugural champion Billie Starkz at Death Before Dishonor on Friday evening. This ended Starkz inaugural reign at 113 days. This was also Starkz one and only title defense.
The final moments was reminiscent of how Starkz won the title against Queen Aminata at Supercard of Honor. Starkz, tried to fake another injury to catch Velvet off guard. Instead, Velvet was able to get ahead of Starkz and hit the Final Slice for the victory.
Elsewhere on the pay-per-view, Leyla Hirsh won a Texas Death Match against Diamante and it was a bloody affair. The final moments was a moonsault from Hirsch from the top of the ladder through Diamante, who was duct taped to a table. This would make the victory for Hirsch as Diamante could not answer the ten count. However, Hirsch was attended to post match as it appears she hit her arm on the way down from the ladder.
