NWA has announced that the AEW team of Red Velvet & KiLynn King will be in the upcoming Tag Team Championship Tournament at Empowerrr.
NWA is bringing back the Women’s Tag Team Championships for the first time in 37-years and there will be four teams vying for the gold. The team of Red Velvet and KiLynn King join so far The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) and Hell on Heels (Renee Michelle & Sahara 7). A fourth team has yet to be announced. Who will it be?
Along with this four-team tag tournament to crown a new champion, a Women’s Invitational Cup is taking place. The winner of this will face the NWA World Women’s Champion the next night at NWA73. The current champion is Kamille who faces Leyla Hirsch at Empowerrr.
Thunder Kitty has been announced as the ninth entry into the Invitational Cup. There will be 10-women participating in total. The other eight that have been confirmed are – Tootie Lynn, Jamie Senegal, Chelsea Green, Lady Frost, Debbie Malenko, Jennacide, Bianca Carelli, and Masha Slamovich. Who do you think will take the 10th and final spot?
IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo will also be defending her title against Melina.
