A prior rumor was being reported that Renee Young was scolded during her time in Saudi Arabia while there for WWE’s Super ShowDown event. The original report mentioned that she was treated negatively by a group of people being called the religious police. It was notated that she was yelled at for not having her head covered while in the Kingdom.
Young explained that this was never the case as she responded to the news story on Twitter putting the rumor to rest:
This was Young’s second time at an event in Saudi Arabia. She commentated at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in November. Both times she participated at these events she did not have her head covered at the commentary table. She did, however, have her arms covered as required by the culture.
