Renee Young officially exits WWE after SummerSlam KickOff Show

It was previously reported that there was a rumor that Renee Young had turned in her resignation notice to WWE and would be leaving the company.

Triple H later mostly confirmed her exit, however, he left it up to her to say it on her own terms. On the SummerSlam KickOff show, she did just that. At the beginning of the show, she said this would be her final work with the company.

Young had an eight-year career with WWE as she started in 2012. She wore many hats and quickly became the main female correspondent. Through backstage interviewing, pay-per-view KickOff host, and hosting her own shows, Young became a fan favorite.

Her broadcasting chops led her to become the first and so far only woman to be a permanent commentator on RAW for a full year. At the end of the SummerSlam KickOff, Young signed off with the company as she thanked WWE and the WWE Universe for all their love and support throughout her career.

Diva Dirt thanks Renee for all of her contributions to WWE and we will miss seeing her. We wish her good luck in everything she does in her future.
