After a few weeks of on/off commentary duty on Raw, Renee Young is being promoted to a full-time commentator alongside Micheal Cole and Corey Graves.
This marks a turning point for the company as Renee will become the first woman to join the Raw broadcast booth full-time.
After her first commentary stint in August with the team reports surfaced that while the company was enthralled by her performance, there were no plans for her to become a full-time commentator.
Those reports were obviously incorrect as WWE had this to say about her promotion:
.@ReneeYoungWWE joins the Monday Night #Raw announce team! @WWE today announced changes to its broadcasting team, naming Renee Young as the first woman to join the Monday Night Raw broadcast booth full time. https://t.co/iQUa1kjpF3 pic.twitter.com/sOQhlkvDzZ

Renee joined WWE in 2012 and has served as a backstage interviewer and commentator on Raw, SmackDown LIVE, and NXT. She is currently part of the Mae Young Classic commentary team on WWE Network.
Congratulations to Renee on this promotion!
