Former IMPACT Wrestling star Alisha Edwards has joined a new wrestling promotion in WOW, Women of Wrestling, Casey of Squared Circle Sirens, reports. The tapings for WOW’s first set of tapings of the season for season two of its show AXS TV Tuesday night at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Squared Circle Sirens is also reporting that her name in WOW will be “Sassy Massy.” This will be playing off her gimmick on the Indies, as she is from Boston, Massachusetts.
Edwards joined IMPACT Wrestling in early 2017. She joined forces with her husband to help in a feud with Davey Richards and Angelina Love. This led to IMPACT Wrestling’s 15th Anniversary PPV Slammiversary, in the first ever Mixed Tag Team Full Metal Mayhem match.
Edwards after that match also participated in being a manager in several matches with her husband and she also competed in singles matches against other Knockouts.
With her move to WOW, it will be interesting to see how her and her character evolves and what type of storylines she will be in. This is a pretty big addition for the women’s division for WOW.
