It’s being said that AJ Lee knew she was going to retire from the WWE well before WrestleMania 31, according to a report from Gerweck.net.
It’s believed that AJ may not have informed WWE officials of her decision to leave the company until after the event because WWE may have had her and Paige lose to Brie and Nikki Bella, as there would be no reason for AJ to have a huge win on the biggest show of the year if she wasn’t sticking with the company.
It should also be noted that AJ’s bio has officially been moved to the Alumni section on WWE.com.
