According to a new report by PWInsider Elite, WWE’s Rhea Ripley is set to sign a new contract with the promotion.
The report states that WWE and Ripley have agreed to terms for a new long-term deal, with only the signatures needed to finalize it. In regard to when this contract is expected to be signed, it is said to be “just a matter of time.”
The deal is said to be for five years and Ripley would receive a “considerable” financial raise.
The 28 year old talent has been with WWE since 2017 when she appeared in the inaugural Mae Young Classic. She has gone on to win the NXT Women’s Championship, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, the Raw Women’s Title, and the Women’s World Title. She also was the first NXT UK Women’s Title and is the fifth women’s Grand Slam Champion.
