British wrestling star Rhio (not to be confused with Riho) continues to be on the radar of WWE.
Rhio, who has wrestled for British promotions such as PROGRESS, Pro Wrestling EVE, and RevPro is being pushed by many talents in WWE to be signed. Her name is being brought up along with Man Like DeReiss.
In a report by Fightful Select, Rhio was recently spotted at the NXT Performance Center for NXT tapings, however, she was just visiting at the time. Both Rhio and DeReiss have also trained at the Hart Dungeon during their time in the US last year. Fightful has also heard that talent signing with WWE was a big discussion point backstage at PROGRESS Wrestling’s event on Valentine’s Day.
Rhio has previously worked in NXT UK. She is a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion who held the belt for 434 days. This is a championship previously held by Toni Storm, Jordynne Grace, Jinny, Meiko Satomura, Gisele Shaw, Kanji, and the current champion is former NXT UK talent – Nina Samuels.
Rhio will be taking on Satomura at a PROGRESS event on Feb. 23.
