If you wondered whether the recent WWE.com article about bringing back the Women’s Tag Team Championships might herald a new set of titles for the Divas, sorry to disappoint.
The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE officials discussed introducing Divas Tag Team Championships to television, but ultimately the decision was made not to do it.
The report continues that the belts would have been introduced with the Bella Twins in mind, presumably as the first champions, as higher ups are said to be high on Brie and Nikki and want to devote more TV time to them.

Thoughts: Considering the fact that the champion they do have hasn’t been on TV in three weeks and that title barely gets storylines, it’s probably best not to introduce a new set of titles, anyway.
