Charlotte Flair hasn’t been on television for two weeks and fans have been speculating what is the current deal with the second-generation star. The Queen was removed from the WrestleMania 37 poster, and the WWE release of her fiance Andrade has only added fuel to the fire when it comes to the status of Flair in the company. It is important to note that Andrade has been open about his release and that it was his request.
According to Fightful, Charlotte Flair’s absence is nothing to do with Andrade. It is said to be nothing to do upcoming acting roles, either. She recently starred in Peacock series Punky Brewster alongside Alexa Bliss and has recently landed a major role in the upcoming Walking Tall reboot. The report suggested that Flair is not expected to be at tonight’s RAW in person, but will hopefully be back in action soon.
Could Charlotte Flair be out of WrestleMania 37?
Charlotte Flair was thought to be the WrestleMania opponent for current RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, but this may no longer be the case. Especially as Rhea Ripley will finally be making her debut on the brand tonight.
The RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 37 is also up in the air, with still nothing confirmed thus far. A few weeks ago Flair was supposedly going to face Asuka for the title. With her recent absences, there has been no time to build towards this – especially as WrestleMania is now less than three weeks away.
Charlotte Flair was one of many who stepped forward to claim that they wanted to face Asuka. Shayna Baszler has also appeared to stake her claim, and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Peyton Royce also demanded a title match on RAW Talk. With Rhea Ripley making her RAW Debut tonight, The Nightmare may be the one to step into what was initially Charlotte Flair’s place and take on The Empress of Tomorrow.
