Rhea Ripley – Third WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley is currently sitting 1-1 in WrestleMania matches. She dropped the NXT Women’s Title in her first go-around against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36. The 2020 WrestleMania was the first and only to be held in front of no audience and inside the WWE Performance Center due to the pandemic.
She would get her WrestleMania moment last year when she won the Raw Women’s Title from Asuka. Now she is looking to see if she can start a winning streak and become a two-time tag team champion alongside Liv Morgan in the Fatal 4-Way.
Ronda Rousey – Third WrestleMania
Ronda Rousey is hoping for a more successful outcome than her last WrestleMania encounter. Coming back to and winning the Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey heads into her third WrestleMania. Much like Rhea Ripley, Rousey has a 1-1 record as well.
Rousey’s first Mania match was at WrestleMania 34 when she teamed up with Kurt Angle to face Stephanie McMahon & Triple H. She would come out victorious in that debut match.
Aforementioned, Rousey was in the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania which was her first one as well. She lost the Raw Women’s Title in that match when Lynch defeated both her and Charlotte Flair to become a double champion.
Since her second showing on the big stage, she took time off to start a family and returned at this year’s Royal Rumble. Now Ronda looks to take out Flair this time and walk out with gold.
Sasha Banks – Seventh WrestleMania
A lot has already been said about Sasha Banks so far in this article and for good reason. The Boss is heading into her seventh WrestleMania this year and is attempting to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Naomi.
In the Fatal 4-way match this Sunday, Banks and Naomi were the first team announced to go after the champs. Since then and despite two other teams being added to the bout, both women have looked incredibly strong in the build. This includes Sasha winning a Fatal 4-way singles match last week on SmackDown.
Her first WrestleMania was in Dallas alongside Flair and Lynch in a Triple Threat. From then until now, Sasha has come a long way and despite showing that her place will always be on the WrestleMania stage, she has yet to pick up a victory. She made history last year in the main event with Bianca. Now that we are back in Dallas can she walk out this time as a champion and get her first WrestleMania win?
Shayna Baszler – Third WrestleMania
Wrapping up this retrospective from then to now is Shayna Baszler. The Queen of Spades is heading into her third WrestleMania. Her first was against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 after she was called up to the main roster. Despite running through all of her competitors inside the Elimination Chamber just prior, Baszler shockingly did not defeat Lynch to win the Raw Women’s Title.
Last year, in Baszler’s second WrestleMania, she retained the tag team titles alongside Nia Jax. They defeated Tamina & Natalya who won a tag team turmoil match the day before. Baszler still finds herself as a tag team competitor alongside Natalya this time and hopes to win the Fatal 4-way on Sunday.
