Rhea Ripley is officially coming soon to the RAW roster

Finally!

On tonight’s RAW, Rhea Ripley has finally been announced as coming soon to the red brand. A video package aired in order to promote Ripley’s arrival to RAW. She is the first and so far only woman to have won both the NXT UK and NXT Women’s Championships.

Originally starting in the NXT UK brand, Ripley made her way over to the United States for NXT in 2019. She ended the long second-reign of Shayna Baszler in December of that year and held the NXT Women’s Championship until she was defeated by Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36.

Her last appearance in NXT was against her rival Raquel Gonzalez in a Last Woman Standing Match at New Year’s Evil in January in a losing effort. Ripley appeared in the Royal Rumble match last month and put on an impressive performance. She entered at number 14 and lasted nearly 40-minutes before being last eliminated by the winner Bianca Belair. Ripley eliminated eight competitors in that match.

Ripley has been vocal in the past that she thought she would have been called up to the main roster during the draft last October.

There wasn’t an official date shown of when Ripley will be making her official move to RAW.

What do we think about Ripley joining the RAW roster? Is this the right move? Leave your thoughts below!
