Rhea Ripley is looking forward to a potential future match with Becky Lynch.
The two former Raw Women’s Champions have only had the pleasure of having one televised singles match against each other in their respective careers. That one match took place in 2019 during an episode of NXT and it ended in a no-contest.
The two women recently shared the ring as part of th WarGames match at Survivor Series. Their interaction in the match garnered some buzz from fans of a potential future match against each other.
Speaking on the Nov. 30 episode of WWE’s The Bump. Ripley was asked about a potential match between the two. She stated that she is looking forward to it and she believes that she will come out with a victory.
Ripley stated, “I’m really looking forward to it. Becky is someone that I had a match with in NXT, and it didn’t finish with a conclusion. It finished with Shayna and the girls coming out and ruining that match for me. She’s always been someone that I feel that I could like a televised match with and it’d be competitive. So every time I get to step in the ring, I’m looking forward to it, and I want that one-on-one interaction. I want that match, I’m hoping that one day it will happen, and Mami is gonna put The Man down.”
