Rhea Ripley‘s signature on the WrestleMania Women’s World Championship contract from last week means nothing, according to General Manager Adam Pearce.
On the March 24 episode of Raw, Pearce took to the ring to explain what is going to happen at WrestleMania now that Ripley demands a rematch. He isn’t just going to put her into the match, but he will give her a rematch. All three women interrupted Pearce before he could get out what his solution was to this situation.
Currently it stands as IYO SKY as Women’s World Champion will be facing Bianca Belair. Ripley will now get her rematch, and it will take place in London next week. If Ripley defeats SKY then she will go into WrestleMania as the champion to face Belair, if SKY retains she will continue to face Belair. The three women brawl after Pearce made the announcement. Belair was the one who stood tall from the brawl as she held up the title belt in the ring.
Moments later, Belair approached Pearce backstage saying she wants to know who her challenger will be. Pearce reminded Belair she will find out next week and to make sure it is called down the middle, he has put Belair as the guest referee. Belair exclaimed that she doesn’t know how to be a referee. Pearce told her she has a week to figure it out.
