Riho has defeated Hikaru Shida at AEW’s All Out to punch her ticket to the inaugural match for the Women’s World Championship. This match will take place on Oct. 2 when AEW debuts on TNT.
Earlier in the night, it was already determined that Nyla Rose won her spot in this future historic match by winning the Casino Battle Royale. Now thanks to Riho’s victory she will be across the ring from Rose. After Riho won her match, Rose did walk out and stared at her competition.
Riho has a prior victory over Rose in a three-way match which also included Yuka Sakazaki. This will be their first time in singles competition in AEW.
