ROH’s Queen of Wrestling, Sara Del Rey picked up a big victory over MsChif tonight live on Internet pay per view. But Del Rey’s victory at the 9th Anniversary Show didn’t quite end in celebration: She ended up blinded after MsChif spat her patented green mist in her face.
Following a short match, Del Rey picked up the victory with a wrist clutch slam.
After the bout, she taunted MsChif by spitting in her face, but ‘Chif hit back with a face full of green mist sending the Queen reeling. The segment closed with officials helping a fallen Del Rey while MsChif let out her patented scream.
Thoughts: Compared to the last iPPV match in December, this bout felt like a letdown. The match was too short in my opinion and didn’t really get out of first gear as a result. It was also disappointing to see the lively Chicago crowd quieten down for this match.
