Tonight’s an important night for both Ring of Honor and women’s wrestling as a whole. The company will crown its first champion since the Women of Honor Championship was deactivated at the start of 2020. The new ROH Women’s World Champion will be determined in the final match from the Quest for Gold Tournament at tonight’s Death Before Dishonor. The tournament has been taking place over the past few months along with talent being highlighted on Women’s Division Wednesdays.
Either Rok-C or Miranda Alize will walk out tonight with this honor.
Rok-C made it to the finals by defeating the first Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai in the first round. She then went on to defeat both Quinn McKay and another former Women of Honor Champion Angelina Love.
Alize took out Alex Gracia in the first round and then two tournament favorites Nicole Savoy and Trish Adora.
Along with a new champion, ROH is focusing on revitalizing its women’s division. Both finalists, Rok-C and Alize have officially signed with the company along with Max the Impaler who was one to watch in the tournament.
As always, feel free to discuss tonight’s show in the comment section below. And remember to be kind.
