It has been confirmed between Ring of Honor and New Texas Pro that the ROH Women’s World Title will be defended this Saturday, Nov. 13.
It will take place at the upcoming Dallas event and can be watched on IWTV. The current and first in this lineage of the world title belt, Rok-C will be defending against Trish Adora.
This match was originally planned to only be for the New Texas Pro Women’s Championship that Rok-C holds as well. However, ROH has agreed to have the ROH Title be on the line. Adora is now looking to grab up both titles. Adora is the first and so far only Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling Champion which she won in February 2020. She successfully defended that title on Nov. 4 against Jordan Blade at a Beyond event.
It has been previously announced by ROH that the company is going on a hiatus after its Final Battle pay-per-view in December. Despite stating that they look forward to being back in April of 2022, it was said that the company will be releasing its entire roster from their contracts come the first of the year.
Because of this hiatus, the match between Rok and Adora is being advertised as perhaps the last time that this belt can be defended in the state of Texas. It has been defended twice prior since Rok’s win against first Killer Kelly and more recently against Raychell Rose.
Rok-C became the new ROH Women’s World Champion after defeating Miranda Alize in the finals of a huge tournament over the summer. This title became a new lineage as the company was left without a champion at the start of 2021.
