Ronda Rousey Aggravates Prior Arm Injury, Still Expected To Compete At WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey appeared on the March 3 episode of SmackDown with her arm in a sling. Storyline-wise, she was taken out in a brawl by Tegan Nox. A tag team match was originally booked for this week’s episode between Rousey & Shayna Baszler vs. Nox & Natalya. However, that match ended up being a singles match between Nox and Baszler instead. Baszler picked up the win.

PWTorch is reporting that the injury is legitimate and that Rousey had aggravated a prior injury. The injury is not expected to infringe on any plans for Rousey to compete at WrestleMania 39 just a month away. At the time of this writing, Rousey is not scheduled for a match at the event, but it has been discussed that she and Baszler will challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The titles are currently held by Becky Lynch and Lita.

Fightful Select had reported on Rousey suffering a minor injury to her arm in 2022.
