Rosita — real name Thea Trinidad — debuted for TNA in January at the tender age of 20, and has gone on to find success as one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions with on-screen cousin, Sarita.
2011 also marked the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and as has been well documented, Rosita’s father, Michael Trinidad, was one of the victims of that tragedy. Rosita has often cited that her father — an amateur wrestler — was her inspiration to get into wrestling.
Rosita achieving her dream of hitting the big time in wrestling in 2011, 10th anniversary of her father’s death, is pretty inspirational. Congratulations to her!
