It was all our fault.
During the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ruby Soho participated in an in-ring interview with Renee Paquette to explain her actions at Revolution. Soho recalled all the pivotal moments that led to her decision, which included losing to Britt Baker at Dynamite: Grand Slam in 2021 and later in the finals of the first Owen Hart Cup. It was the fans who turned their backs on all of “the outsiders,” and now she’s got a vendetta against the homegrown talent.
Skye Blue came out for their scheduled match but was beat down before the bell was rung. Soho dominated most of the match until Blue almost pulled out her finisher. Soho countered and drilled her with Destination Unknown for the win.
After, Saraya and Toni Storm helped get Blue in position for the spray paint, but Willow Nightingale ran down. She pleaded with Soho, but her former partner wasn’t interested. Saraya and Storm took Nightingale down before taking an “L” to the chest.
Backstage, Jade Cargill appeared and called out a Canadian to challenge her next week in Winnipeg. Before that, though, we know that the first two AEW Women’s World Champions Riho and Nyla Rose will clash on Friday’s Rampage.
