Ruby Soho continued her dream start to her AEW career with her third win on the run.
Soho debuted at All Out to win the Casino Battle Royale, she then defeated Jamie Hayter on this week’s Dynamite. After the match Britt Baker attacked Soho before Riho and Kris Statlander made the save.
On Friday’s episode of Rampage, Soho teamed with Statlander and Riho to take on Baker, Hayter and Reba/Rebel.
The match was a lot of fun with some great spots involving Statlander and Riho. Statlander picked up Riho on her back who then channelled her inner Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat to deliver a flurry of kicks to Rebel.
Statlander continues to impress with her raw strength and power delivering and a double suplex to Rebel and Hayter
The ending sequence came Statlander hits Baker with a twisting Falcon Arrow. Riho gets on Statlander’s shoulders before Rebel heroically covers Baker to save her from the double foot stomp. Rebel takes the full force of Riho, who then launches herself off the top turnbuckle onto Hayter outside as Soho plants Rebel with the Soho kick for the win.
Ruby Soho now possesses wins over both of Baker’s entourage. The champion must be starting to worry as she edges ever closer to the title.
