Ruby Soho victorious on AEW Dynamite debut

AEW newcomer Ruby Soho made an instant impact when she won the Casino Battle Royale at All Out. Soho appeared as the Joker to a thunderous ovation before outlasting Nyla Rose and Thunder Rosa to claim victory and the coveted title shot.

She replicated the same success on the Dynamite debut against the formidable Jamie Hayter in singles action.

Soho’s first match outside of WWE in nearly five years was certainly a tough challenge as Hayter wasn’t playing around. The Brit got to work early on overpowering Soho before literally hanging her out to dry.

Soho fired back with a nice rebound DDT but it wasn’t enough to put Hayter away. She continued to beat down Soho with a neck breaker and Death Valley Driver for a near fall.

Soho persevered and landed the Riott (or is that Soho) Kick right on the button to gift Britt Baker‘s muscle the loss. However, Soho’s victory celebrations were short-lived as Baker burst into the ring and attacked.

As a three-on-one beatdown ensued Riho entered the fray to assist Soho but received a backbreaker from Hayter for her efforts. The heels then placed Soho’s head over the title setting her up for a curb stomp but a chair-wielding Kris Statlander sent Baker and crew fleeing.

AEW announced that all six will clash in tag team action on Rampage this Friday.

Also announced Jade Cargill goes one-on-one with Legit Leyla Hirsch on next week’s Dynamite.

Finally we saw futher disscenion in the ranks of the Dark Order much to Anna Jay and Tay Conti’s dissapointment.
