Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker Confirmed For Owen Hart Cup Final

Ruby Soho punched her ticket to Double or Nothing as she advanced to the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

In the main event of this week’s Rampage, Soho took on her friend Kris Statlander. Both women looked great in the match with the crowd firmly behind Statlander over that of the babyface Ruby.

As the match approached its ending, Soho applies an arm lock but Statlander forces the break after making it to the ropes. Statlander lands Soho with a German Suplex before hitting the Big Bang Theory. She goes for the cover but Soho gets her shoulder up at the very last moment. The crowd went crazy over this wanting Statlander to pick up the victory. The match then ends with Soho rolling her up for a three-count.

Post-match, the crowd was not happy that Soho won.

Soho will be facing Dr. Britt Baker this Sunday in the finals since Baker defeated Toni Storm on Dynamite. Baker made her way out to the stage and went to speak but Soho wouldn’t let her speak and told her she has been talking for too long. The crowd continues to boo Soho. Soho tells Britt that she saw what she did to her friend Statlander so imagine what she will do to someone she hates.

Also added to Double or Nothing is a Mixed-Trios Match. Tay Conti, Sammy Guevara, and Frankie Kazarian will be taking on Paige VanZant, Ethan Page, and Scorpio Sky. This will be VanZant’s first match in AEW. The full card can be seen below.
