AEW has added a women’s match for the upcoming Winter Is Coming Dynamite that will take place on Dec. 14. Ruby Soho will be taking on Tay Melo.
This will be Soho’s first match since AEW All Out where she was injured by Melo who gave her a broken nose that had her out for months. They were in tag team belt for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles where Melo and Sammy Guevara were defending the gold against Soho and Ortiz.
Soho returned to TV on the Nov. 30 episode of Dynamite when she immediately went after Melo attacking her from behind in the ring.
Elsewhere in AEW, on the Dec. 9 episode of Rampage, Hikaru Shida defeated The Bunny to retain the Regina Di Wave Championship. This will give Shida a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship in an upcoming match against the champion Jamie Hayter.
