According to a report by Fightful Select, it is being said that Santana Garrett was called up to the main roster over the summer. The last we saw Garrett on our television screens was at the Great American Bash in July where she was defeated by Mercedes Martinez.
Fightful Select says that there were several creative pitches for Garrett for either RAW or SmackDown. This included having her in a tag team, but the ideas never made it through and she never made her official transfer to a new brand.
Garrett joins a few other women who were rumored to have moved on from NXT but haven’t been seen in months. Chelsea Green and Vanessa Borne are two women who were rumored to be moving on to either the red or blue brands and haven’t been seen since. Both women have made comments on their Twitter accounts with regard to not wrestling for months.
Mercedes Martinez was another call up as part of the RETRIBUTION stable recently. Although she did make her appearance with the group, Fightful also states that she requested to no longer be a part of that storyline. This left Reckoning (Mia Yim) as the only female of the group. Martinez has not been seen on TV since.
