Sasha Banks and Bayley to start Elimination Chamber match

On tonight’s episode of Raw, it was announced Bayley and Sasha Banks, or Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection, would be one of the first two teams to start the Elimination Chamber match, scheduled for this Sunday.

The pair took part in a triple-threat tag team match on Monday’s episode of the Red Brand, competing against the teams of Nia Jax and Tamina, and Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

Banks was thrown into the barricade outside the ring by Ruby Riott, and given a brutal knee by Sarah Logan, injuring Sasha. The Boss was taken out of the arena by officials to be evaluated by medical staff.

Bayley was left inside the ring to handle the other four women, and even though she put up quite a fight, she wasn’t able to fend off the others long enough to pin Morgan, who was down on the mat with a killer elbow from the top rope. Bayley was pinned by Jax, losing the match for Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection.

Due to the stipulation announced for the match, Bayley and Banks will be one of the first teams to enter the Elimination Chamber for WWE’s first Women’s Tag Team titles.

Last week, with the announcement of SmackDown’s third women’s tag team, all teams were officially announced for the Elimination Chamber match: Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection, Jax and Tamina, Morgan and Logan, Carmella and Naomi, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, and the IIconics. The winners of the first women’s tag team titles will be decided by traditional Elimination Chamber match rules.

Tune into the WWE Network this Sunday, Feb. 17, to see which pair of women will hold the honor.

Who do you think will walk away with the first tag team titles? Will starting first hurt Sasha and Bayley’s chances of winning?
