Sahsa Banks & Naomi stay in the win column as they challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships in just two days.
They picked up another win against the champions, Queen Zelina and Carmella. The two teams were being watched by their WrestleMania competition at ringside, Liv Morgan/Rhea Ripley and Natalya/Shayna Baszler.
After a kick from Banks countering Carmella, both women crawl to their corners to tag in their partners. Carmella made it to Zelina but Banks couldn’t get to her corner before Zelina knocked Naomi off the ring apron. Zelina celebrated a little too long and missed the splash in the corner on Banks.
Naomi tagged in allowing Banks to hit a splash off the ropes before the split-legged moonsault. Naomi pinned Zelina for the victory.
Carmella & Queen Zelina haven’t faired well in the WrestleMania build. They will most likely drop their titles on Sunday.
On WrestleMania Saturday, Charlotte Flair will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Title against Ronda Rousey. Over the past few weeks, they have both brawled and had a war of words. They were kept apart for the second week in a row but gave final thoughts heading into their match.
It was shown that Rousey was training with Shayna Baszler earlier in the day. She says that Flair can either tap out at Mania or she can rip her arm off and give it to her family as a souvenir. Flair went on a list of things that are “cool” after acknowledging how angry Rousey seems to be.
