Update: IMPACT responded to PWInsider in regards to their report on Scarlett Bordeaux’s request to be released from her contract. There was no confirmation about the request itself, however, the length of her contract has been clarified. IMPACT confirmed that Bordeaux is in a multi-year deal and it does not end later this summer as originally mentioned.
It has been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that Scarlett Bordeaux has asked for her release from IMPACT Wrestling. PWInsider dictates that their sources say her contract is a pay per appearance and is not a guaranteed contract. The deal is said to be good until later this summer without an actual date being disclosed. At this time there is no word on her release being granted.
This request has followed Bordeaux’s boyfriend and IMPACT wrestler Killer Kross also asking for his release. Kross has reportedly been unhappy about the financial aspects of his contract. PWInsider is saying that this release has not been granted. Bordeaux and Kross have recently been interviewed by Alicia Atout about their relationship.
Bordeaux has been heavily pushed since joining the promotion in July. She has strongly catered to the idea of bringing sexy back to wrestling with her “Smokeshow” temptress gimmick. Her much anticipated first match took place in March at Against All Odds. Bordeaux’s opponent was Glenn Gilbertti also known as Disco Inferno. She won that match with a powerbomb and held it for the pin.
Most recently she has been teaming up with Fallah Bahh. She participated in the Knockout Battle Royal last week which was won by a man, Gilbertti.
Her next appearance for IMPACT is the taping scheduled in N.Y. for June.
