Scarlett Bordeaux captures a male dominated title at MCW event

MCW Pro Wrestling is hosting their Winter Blast Tour in the states of Md. and Del. The tour kicked off in their home arena in Joppa, MD last night. Current IMPACT Wrestling Knockout, Scarlett Bordeaux, has become the new MCW Rage TV Champion.

Becoming the first woman ever to hold a male title in this promotion, Bordeaux defeated MCW veteran, Ryan McBride. This was a huge accomplishment to Bordeaux as her goal is to bring sexy to wrestling.

McBride held the title for 189 days and was in his second reign. This is her first appearance at this promotion. She will be defending her newly won title tonight in Hollywood, MD. against McBride in a rematch.

Ring announcer Danny Mays, along with new MCW Rage TV’s host, Katie Sparks, were recapping the night’s event when an irate McBride entered. He vowed that he would be taking back his title after his rematch against Bordeaux.

Bordeaux has been galavanting around IMPACT Wrestling without having a match since her debut. She recently held a worldwide talent search to find the next big deal. She vowed to focus all of her abilities and all of her talents on molding the next breakout star.

Due to very little surprise, Bordeaux chose that the winner of this search would be none other than – herself. After scouring thousands of videotape submissions and watching the IMPACT locker room, the winner to her was obvious. IMPACT confirmed via Twitter that her in-ring debut will be coming soon.

The MCW Rage TV Championship is not the only title win for a woman last evening. Aria Palmer captured her first MCW Women’s Championship from Gia Scott. Scott held the title for only 70 days since November. Through hard work and determination, Palmer celebrates her victory backstage.

This title has previously been held by former WWE Women’s Champion, Melina for 350 days starting in 2016. She had to vacate the title due to injury. It has also been held by WWE veteran, Mickie James who is a multiple champion in her own right.

Both of the new champions will not have much time to rest. They will be defending their newly won gold tonight in Hollywood, MD.

Check back with Diva Dirt to see if either title switches hands as MCW Pro Wrestling’s Winter Blast Tour continues.
